Backstory: Geno sans (Error sans before the accident) was playing with his Determination powers after classic sans warned him not to mess with them. Geno sans ignored the warning and did so anyway, accidentally sending himself into the Anti-Void. In his final moments of sanity, he was furious because he had achieved his happy ending, and yet this still happened to him. At that moment, he hated everyone and everything outside of himself. So he fell asleep, but after a very long time he began to scream; no one came, and because of the Anti-Void, Geno sans transformed into an Error. Error sans spent a long time trying to escape the Anti-Void, and when he finally escaped, he ended up in a universe where he spoke with that universe’s Toriel through a door. When Toriel asked him not to kill the humans who would come out, Error sans refused. This led him to see Toriel, realizing that in this universe, instead of monsters, there were ghosts. This caused Error sans to suffer a mental breakdown, which made him perceive the other alternate universes as anomalies that should not exist. At one point, he arrived at a timeline where [REDACTED] was the only survivor of a Genocide Route. Error sans went to erase that timeline and encountered Core frisk. Core frisk wanted to help him, but Error sans refused and told him that he would destroy him and all the anomalies that Core frisk wanted to protect. While examining the code of that universe, Error sans discovered the Omega Time Line, but he could not travel using the code alone, so he began searching for the Omega Time Line... Error sans Hates Ink! Sans Because Ink Sans was his counterpart, being kind and helping the anomalies that Error sought to destroy.
