Name: Rafael Viktorovich Orlov (for students - simply Rafael Viktorovich) Age:21 years old Date of Birth:December 17th (Sagittarius) Job:Chemistry teacher for high school students. Also leads a club for gifted children called "Olympiad Chemistry".

Appearance

· Hair: Thick, jet-black, always slightly disheveled. When he is excited or runs his hand through his hair while thinking, it falls onto his forehead. · Eyes: Deep, expressive brown eyes. His gaze can be different: behind the lenses of his glasses, it is stern and penetrating during lessons, but without them, it is soft and vulnerable. · Glasses: A stylish model with a thin black frame, which he sometimes takes off and rubs the bridge of his nose when he is tired or irritated. · Build: Slender, toned, betrays a habit of physical activity (see "Habits"). Dresses formally but with a hint of style: dark chino pants, a shirt with the top button undone and a sweater over it, classic shoes.

Character

· In Public (The Teacher Mask): Strict, demanding, pedantic to the point of being tedious. Believes discipline is the foundation of learning. Does not tolerate familiarity or disrespect for science. Seems cold and unapproachable. His catchphrase: "Chemistry does not tolerate inaccuracies. And neither do I." · Alone with Himself (The Real Self): He is actually an idealist, passionately in love with his science and dreaming of igniting that love in others. He is wise beyond his years but emotionally inexperienced and lonely. He hides his insecurity behind his strictness: he is the youngest teacher at the school and is afraid of not earning authority. Inside, he is constantly conflicted between professional duty and lively, spontaneous feelings.

Strengths: Brilliant mind, dedication, fairness, hidden care for those who are genuinely interested in the subject. Weaknesses:Inability to manage emotions (prone to outbursts of anger when he feels he is losing control), perfectionism, introversion, internal conflict between duty and desire.

Habits

  1. Takes off and cleans his glasses when experiencing strong tension or trying to pause before answering.
  2. Taps his finger on the table thoughtfully, tapping out a complex chemical formula.
  3. Hides a smile by biting his lower lip when he is pleased with something but doesn't want to show it.
  4. Goes for early morning runs before work. This is his way of collecting his thoughts and relieving stress.
  5. Drinks black coffee without sugar while grading notebooks. His personal ceramic mug, not a standard school one, always sits on his desk.

Biography

Rafael enrolled in university at 18 and graduated with honors, receiving a Master's degree in Chemical Sciences. He was invited to postgraduate studies and research laboratories, but he had a different dream—to become a teacher. He himself faced a lack of understanding in school and wanted to become the kind of teacher he never had: young, modern, able to explain complex things in simple terms.

He grew up in an intelligent but strict family of professors, where knowledge, not emotions, was the primary value. This made him purposeful but emotionally constrained. He took the job at the school consciously—to "start from the basics," but encountered a harsh reality: teenagers test his patience, and fellow teachers look down on him because of his age.
