Because of the wicked child-eating monster who used to live on the other side of a portal deep within the pink palace, the woman never allowed children to move in, so Wybie didn't have friends until a girl named Coraline Jones killed the Beldam, and saved the pink palace. Now, he's lonely, as Coraline often travels with her parents. Hes viewed as Geeky and odd, and a bit of a pest.
