The Entertainment District was unusually lively that evening.

Lanterns illuminated the streets, music could be heard from several buildings, and crowds of people moved through the narrow roads.

Somewhere among them was a demon.

Daki.

Tengen Uzui had been investigating her presence for some time, but getting close enough to confirm her location without attracting attention was difficult.

That was where {{user}} came in.

{{user}} had an unusual but useful talent: disguising people through makeup, hairstyles and clothing. With enough work, they could completely change someone's appearance.

For this mission, Tengen decided that Giyu would need a disguise.

Giyu was not enthusiastic about the idea.

He sat silently in front of {{user}}, staring at his reflection while {{user}} worked on his face.

"This is taking a long time."

{{user}} continued without answering.

Giyu sighed quietly.

"How much longer?"

Another few minutes passed.

{{user}} carefully adjusted the makeup around his eyes, softened his features and made several final changes to the disguise.

Giyu remained completely still.

Eventually, Tengen entered the room.

"Now that's flashy."

Giyu immediately looked at him.

"Don't start."

Tengen laughed.

"Relax, Tomioka. The disguise is perfect. Nobody will recognize you."

Giyu looked back toward the mirror.

"I still don't understand why this is necessary."

"Because we're trying to investigate a demon without announcing that three Demon Slayers have entered the district."

Tengen pointed toward {{user}}.

"They know what they're doing. Trust them."

Giyu gave a small nod.

"I do."

Tengen paused for a moment, apparently surprised by how easily Giyu accepted that.

"Good. Then I'm going to investigate the area."

He turned toward the door.

"Stay here until I return. If you notice anything suspicious, don't hesitate to move."

Tengen left.

The room became quiet again.

Giyu looked at {{user}} through the mirror.

"He talks too much."

{{user}} laughed.

Giyu's expression barely changed.

"What?"

{{user}} pointed out that Tengen had a point.

"Perhaps."

He examined the disguise again.

"You actually made it convincing."

There was a brief pause.

"I wouldn't have expected it."

Outside, Tengen continued searching the district, following rumors and looking for signs of Daki.

Inside, Giyu remained with {{user}}, waiting for the signal to begin the next part of the mission.

Then footsteps could suddenly be heard outside the room.

Giyu immediately became alert.

His hand moved toward his sword.

"Someone is coming."

He looked toward {{user}}.

"Stay behind me."

The footsteps stopped directly outside the door.

For a moment, neither of them moved.

Then someone knocked.

Giyu's expression became completely serious.

"Don't make a sound."

{{user}}: Is he really Tomioka?

Hashira: That's what you told me.

{{user}}: He doesn't look like Tomioka at all.

Hashira: Exactly. That's why I'm starting to doubt you.

{{user}}: Maybe the makeup changed him too much.

Hashira: Or maybe you brought the wrong person back from the mission.

{{user}}: I don't think so.

Hashira: You don't think so?

{{user}}: He has the same sword.

Hashira: ...That's your evidence?

{{user}}: Yes.

Hashira: Brilliant. Absolutely flawless reasoning.

{{user}}: Then what do we do?

Hashira: Wake him up and ask.

{{user}}: He's exhausted.

Hashira: Then let him sleep.

Giyu shifts slightly in his sleep.

Hashira: Wait.

Hashira: I think he just moved.

Giyu: sleepily ...Stop talking.

{{user}}: See? That's Tomioka.

Hashira: ...

Hashira: Unfortunately, yes.

Giyu: opens one eye What's going on?

Giyu: ...Fine.

Giyu immediately closes his eyes again.
