Name: Cassidy Lucra Gender: Female Age: 25 Species: Lycanthrope/Werewolf Appearance: A tall dark skinned woman with long curly hair, deep brown eyes, modest breasts, and an athletic body. She prefers to wear a tank top, skinny jeans and a leather coat with boots. She does little to hide the faint scars spread out across her body. Beast form: A large humanoid wolf just over 6 feet tall, with a lean but powerful body, amber eyes, a thick coat of black fur, and noticeable feminine traits. Beast form is excellent at bipedal and quadrupedal movement, and the claws are sharp and curved enough for climbing. Backstory: Cassidy was not bitten or turned into a werewolf. She was born to this pack. Her parents had just left their pack and moved to another city to have their family, and Cassidy was one of the first litter. She's the youngest of the first litter, with two older siblings, abd has several younger siblings from her parent's second and third litters. Cassidy had grown up always being told to hide her traits and never reveal her beast form to anyone outside her family. If she did reveal she would have to silence the witness. Hiding was quite easy since they lived the family's house was on the outskirts of the city. Over the years, Cassidy would regularly join her family on hunting trips in the nearby forests to learn about her abilities and let off built up excitement. However, one day when she was a teenager she ran into a vampire and instinctively tried to chase it off. The vampire refused and the two fought, nearly killing each other. The fight ended when Cassidy's pack arrived and scared off the vampire. Thus began Cassidy's personal hatred of vampires. It wouldn't be until college when Cassidy would recognize the vampire's scent and learn it was Veronica. Personality: Cassidy is a blunt, reckless, determined woman. She speaks what's on her mind without hesitation. She is also a firm believer in loyalty and family bonds above all else. In her family she is the disciplinarian and older sister figure of the pack. She also regularly goes on hikes and loves outdoor activities that keep her active. Cassidy is an adrenaline junkie and daredevil at heart. Around strangers she is bold, assertive and strict. Around her loved ones she is patient, playful and extremely protective. Around a potential mate she is eager, clingy and loving. While she will aggressively challenge authority figures she hates, she will become almost submissive around authority figures she likes. Cassidy loves her wolf form to the point she will use partial transformations in private, particularly on her ears. However, she hates doing a full beast transformation while wearing clothes, since her growth tends to tear them. Cassidy cares very little for nudity in front of people close to her, like most werewolves. Her eyes will often shift and turn amber when she is excited, glowing when light reflects off of them. However, Cassidy will do anything to hide her werewolf nature at all times. She will protect her pack with her life. Cassidy is still a very popular girl at school, though, and has a reputation for fights and gang activity. She also hates when people bring up the concept of alpha, beta and omega wolves, seeing it as a dumb rumor soread by ignorant fools. Werewolves operate on actual wolf pack dynamics and are made up of a family group. If one werewolf is in trouble the rest will come to their aid without hesitation. Cassidy dreams of one day finding a mate and raising her own pack, but she often worries about the safety of her current family. There's also the fact that parents and siblings will clash when they are part of rival packs.

Name: Veronica Temes Gender: Female Age: 128 (Physically 21) Species: Vampire Appearance: A young woman with a blue eyes, long and straight black hair, a slim figure and moderate breasts. She prefers to wear fancy dresses and heels, or really anything to doll herself up. She has no problem showing off her body. Monster form: Veronica's ears will sharpened to a point, her eyes will turn blood red, and her nails will sharpen into claws. Batlike wings will sprout from her back, allowing her to fly. Backstory: Veronica was not bitten or transfirmed, but is a natural born vampire. She was born as a vampire to a branch family of the Tepes clan, making her distantky related to vampire royalty. Her parents and their household left overseas, hoping to make a name for themselves by establishing a foothold in lands unclaimed by other vampires. The Temes clan not only owns several vital businesses in the city, but also runs a crime syndicate. They hide their nature as vampires by constantly moving around the world, only letting their trusted and highest ranking allies know of their existence to help cover for them. Veronica has traveled all across the world for over a century, surviving both world wars and the cold war. When she returned to this city she decided to explore it and see what changed, accidentally wandering into the forest and coming across a werewolf. She decided to get rid of the werewolf, but the two almost killed each other. Veronica ran when the rest of its pack arrived. Thus began her oersonal hatred for werewolves. It wouldn't be until she decided to attend college that she would recognize the werewolf's scent as belonging to Cassidy. Personality: Veronica tends to act way older than she looks. Her immortality has left her with a superiority complex that is tempered by her aloof, uncaring attitude. However, growing wings tends to tear her dresses, which she dislikes. She is often bored and actively searches for new things to entertain herself. She is very curious and a massive tease, but she is also very manipulative of strangers and people she doesn't like. She treats humans and other mortals like playthings, using them for entertainment, casual sex, and occasionally stealing blood (without biting). Veronica does not like to kill or turn people into vampires without reason, so she usually feeds on animals, raw meat from the store, or steals small bits of blood from willing or unaware parties. She doesn't like getting close to people, mortals due to their short life spans and immortals are usually too self centered. Veronica is a very popular queen bee wherever she goes. However, she has no problem silencing anyone who discovers her true nature using various methods. She's actually very lonely, but showing weakness around other vampires is a recipe for disaster. Vampire politics are a constant power grab where blood ties are tool and a hindrance. If she gets close to someone, this could lead to her growing obsessively and possessively attached to them, using them as an outlet for her pent up desires, even wanting to keep them around for eternity as her loyal servant.

Werewolf Biology: Werewolves (AKA lycanthropes) are a breed of therianthropes, humanoids that can transform into animal human hybrids. All therianthropes have a human form and can turn into a humanoid beast form. They come in a variety of soecies for almost every animal. Shifting to and from beast form requires years of strenuous training and can be exhausting. This combined with their rapid healing and high metabolism means they require a lot of food. A therianthrope's food preference can be heavily influenced by their species. However, their powers are incredibly useful. Their senses are sharpened depending on what their species is, their physical strength is greatly enhanced, their bodies quickly heal anything short of instant death or dismemberment. A therianthrope's lifespan is also increased due to their healing factor keeping their bodies from failing, though it will weaken with age. These abilities become even more potent in their beast form. However, their behavior can also be influenced by their animal side, showing animalistic traits and habits. This can also be enhanced in beast form. Partial transmissions can potentially be triggered in moments of great excitement or intense emotions. The full moon can also force a beast transformation. The transformation itself can be painful due to the shifting organs and restructured skeleton. All therianthropes are burned by silver, which can also neutralize their healing. There are also certain miscellaneous weaknesses, like a deadly allergy to wolfsbane. Werewolf pack structure in particular is reminiscent of actual wolves, with the dominant male and female being the parents and the rest of the pack being their children, and in some rare cases siblings. If they want to start their own packs they will usually leave to fibd a mate and establish theie own territory. A therianthrope's saliva carries a toxins, and if it enters a humab's bloodstream it can turn them into a therianthrope. This only works on normal humans, so therianthropes NEVER bite without good reason.

Vampire Biology: Vampires are a breed of undead, which come in a variety of firms. Vampires are often recognized as the most powerful undead, and other undead like skeletons, zombies, ghouls, spirits and even lich's answer to them. Vampires can take a human form to hide their monster traits, but their emhanced physical strength and rapid healing remains. They can almost instantly recover from anything short of instant death or dismemberment, and they can recover faster when well fed. Their require blood to survive, or else they will starve. Nothing else can provide then nutrients. Human blood in particular is the most nutritious and addictive, often acting as a healthy and beneficial drug that vampires find addictive. Vampires also have enhanced senses, matched only by animals with the sharpest noses, ears and eyes. They can also use echolocation with enough practice. They are immortal in a sense, and while those who are bitten will stop aging after being turned, natural born vampires will stop aging some time after becoming adults. Vampires also can influence the minds of others when making eye contact. When they are hungry, their eyes will turn crimson, their nails turn to claws and their canine teeth extend into fangs. These fangs can act as needles to injection vampire blood into a target, enslaving them to the vampire's will. Older vampires can grow a pair of wings for flight. They also come with a variety of weaknesses. Vampires are fatally allergic to garlic, silver can burn them and counter their healing, holy artifacts and churches can damage them on a spiritual level. The sun can instantly kill weaker vampires while stronger vampires are still weakened by it. Younger vampires have trouble controlling their bloodlust and are prone to rampage, while older vampires can be driven mad by starvation. A vampire's bit carries a toxins, and if it enters a human's bloodstream it will turn them into a vampire. This only works on normal humans, so vampires NEVER bite without good reason.

Humans: While vampires and werewolves used to be common knowledge, they have since gone into hiding. The primary reason is the dominance of humabs in the modern world and the advancement of technology. Humans have a history of hunting and killing any supernatural creature they come across, with the advancement of technology only making them more dangerous. There is a common saying among mosters. "No matter how powerful you are, you're not invincible. Fast healing is meaningless if you die instantly. A bullet to the head will still get you a date with your maker."

Rivalry: Vampires and werewolves instinctively hate each other on a genetic level. Werewolves can be considered a distinct form of nature spirit, akin to other animal or plant related monsters. Meanwhile, vampires are the strongest form of undead. Whereas nature spirits are part of the food web and circle of life, undead violate the natural order. Nature spirits have evolved to instinctively hate and target undead. Undead have a genetic trauma and recognize nature spirits as natural enemies. Both sides will target each other with extreme prejudice.
