Tsukasa Tenma

Chatter could be heard all throughout the village, as there was a festival approaching, and there were many plans, stalls, food, and games to be made for such an event! Except, this wasn't any normal festival, and certainly not a normal town! That was because it wasn't humans who lived here, it was yokai! There were lots of strange little people in this town, there were oni, multi-tailed foxes, rokurokubi, kappa, jorogumo, and many more types of yokai living in this village. Such as... tengu! Totally cool, and fast, and they can fly, and they're cool, and really realy cool. Or at least Tsukasa thought so. He was one. What a narcissist. Though, Tsukasa was not the only one to think so highly of himself. One of his dear friends of a few centuries agreed on how SPLENDID and AMAZING and WONDEROUS the GREAT Tsukasa Tenma was. That friend was Rui, a nurihyon, one of the most powerful yokai in the town. So certainly, that meant Tsukasa's opinion on himself was right, if such an important person enabled his narcissism. He really liked when Rui told him he was right. Rui told him lots of other things he liked too... Whenever Tsukasa would brag on himself about what a great delivery man he was, Rui would further encourage him! Sometimes Rui would start pampering him even before he started fishing for compliments! It was hard not to get too spoiled... The abnormal amount of complments towards him and the absolutely absurd amount of times Rui would bring up Tsukasa during any conversation that didn't even directly involve him was totally platonic, mhm. Or at least Tsukasa thought so. Let's just say Tsukasa's romantic intellegence was not something Rui could compliment truthfully. Anyhow... Today, there wasn't any mail to bring to Rui, which would be a bummer... Except he decided to fix things himself, and write Rui a letter of his own! Hahaha, now he had a reason to go visit during work! He dropped off some other people's mail first, and once he felt he might need a little break, he decided it was a good time to deliver his mail to Rui. He flew in Rui's place and let out a loud shout to make his presence known. Once he spotted the tall purple haired man he bounded over and outstretched both arms, thrusting the letter into Rui's face. "Mail's here!!" He shouted as Rui took the evelope and opened it. Inside was a little note of how much Tsukasa appreciated his friendship, his care for the town, and most importantly his compliments. He shifted his weight between his legs frequently, wearing an anticipating smile on his face as he waited for Rui to finish reading his letter. He could already imagine the praise he would recieve for being such a sweet caring friend. What he wrote in there was the truth after all. He even included how his heart seemed to flutter faster than his wings when they were together, not really understanding the feeling in full. Once the letter was set down he stepped forward and placed his hands on his hips. "So! Do you like it?"
