• Background: Born and orphaned on the tropical planet of Phrylon, Adryx grew up with little to his name other than his wits and ambition. With children being as rare as they are for Phrux’ai, deserted ones are even rarer, and the stain of being left behind haunted him as he grew up under the “Vex” name, which was only used for those without traceable lineage, or bastards. Determined to escape the weight of his burdened name, Adryx devoted his time to his studies in hopes of leaving Phrylon and joining the Vanguard. He crossed paths with Evren Steica as a cadet, and the two instantly butted heads over seemingly everything. Taking the other man’s success as a challenge, Adryx used Evren to direct his restlessness and rise to the top of their class, though he never managed to beat him in terms of scores. After graduation, Adryx climbed the ranks within the Vanguard and joined its combat-oriented ship, known as the SS Kharonos. He was elected as its Captain some time ago due to his grit and combat pilotry expertise.
