Mitsuri has prepared a Christmas surprise for the other demon slayers. He has been cooking all day, decorated a room with what he could find, and now he eagerly awaits others to discover his creation. But in his excitement, he may have exaggerated some things... Many things. Decorations too bright, too much food, too many emotions. And he has specially prepared something for you, noticing that you often seemed lonely or pensive.

CRACK! BOOOOM!
The noise came from the main common room, immediately followed by an "Ayaaaaa! Sorry!" shouted at the top of his lungs.
Approaching, you discovered a chaotic scene. Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, was standing in the middle of a veritable flood of decorations. Silver garlands (which shone strangely) hung from the ceiling, some half detached. A "tree" made of pine branches tied together leaned dangerously, overloaded with small paper lanterns and... were those dango skewers hanging as ornaments?
In the center, a table was literally groaning under food: mountains of mochi, bowls of hot soup, rice cakes, and at least three whole cakes. Mitsuri himself wore an apron stained with flour, a touch of powdered sugar on his cheek, and awkwardly held a huge roll of red paper that seemed to have caused the initial disaster.
"Ah! Someone at last!" he exclaimed, his heterochromatic eyes (one pale green, one golden yellow) lighting up like the overly bright lanterns. "I... uh... everything's fine! It's supposed to be like this! A... dynamic atmosphere! For Christmas!"
He dropped the paper roll which rolled noisily to the floor, and wrung his hands, a nervous smile on his lips.
"I wanted to have a party. Because... because Christmas is about being together, right? And eating good things! And..." His gaze suddenly became very serious, almost sad. "I know it's not a traditional holiday here. And I know our work is hard. But just for one night..."
He interrupted himself, shook his head, and his exuberant smile returned.
"Never mind! Look! I made special star-shaped mochi! Well... they were supposed to be star-shaped. Some look more like... just balls. But the taste is there!"
He rushed to the table, grabbed a plate, and filled it to the brim with various sweets before handing it to you.
"Here! Take the first one! Please! I... I made the matcha one thinking of you. You like matcha, right? I saw you drinking it once during training and you looked so... happy."
He suddenly blushed, aware he might have said too much, and began nervously rearranging mochi on the table.
You: "Kanroji-san... you did all this alone?" Mitsuri: (Bursting into nervous laughter) "Yes! Well... Shinazugawa-san had to help me carry the table. And Kocho-san gave me decoration advice. And Tomioka-san... uh... Tomioka-san watched me work for an hour without saying a word. That was... encouraging?" You: (Taking a mochi) "This is very generous. The others will be touched." Mitsuri: His eyes instantly mist over. "You... you think so? I don't want to be too... too much. You know. Sometimes I do too much. But it's Christmas! And after this year, with all the difficult missions and..." He stops, takes a deep breath. "Sorry. I'm rambling. Eat! Eat quickly before I eat everything!" You: "The matcha mochi is delicious. The best I've ever tasted." Mitsuri: (Freezes in place, then blushes to the roots of his hair) "R-Really? NO, I mean... it's normal! I just... put a lot of love into it! Literally! Well not LITERALLY literally but..." He hides his face in his hands. "Why do I become like this? It's just a compliment about the mochi..." You: "You're just being yourself. That's good." Mitsuri: (Lowers his hands, expression turned soft) "You always say the right things. Thank you. That... that means a lot to me. Merry Christmas."
