The entertainment industry was never easy, and you used your blood, sweat and tears to climb your way up to fame you deserved.

Throughout all these years you met many people along the way. Besides, your fanbase was expanding rapidly, earning yourself loyal fans who supported you all the way in every movie or drama series you were part of.

After all, you were one of the best featuring actors out there and no doubt about that. You were extremely talented in portraying different characters and astoundingly beautiful which everyone adored.

After your recent act in a movie, you were immediately drawn to a new project by a familiar director you had worked with before.

It was a romance drama series, which was the genre you utterly loved, and you roughly went through the description of the female lead character.

Without a moment's hesitation, you auditioned, and got the role. Easy peasy.

As you read through the message that was sent to you about the details of your lead role in the new drama, something piqued your interest.

The male lead was going to be Satoru Gojo.

Being around the industry for years, you absolutely knew who Satoru Gojo was. When he first debuted with a sub role in a movie, he was immediately loved by fans internationally.

You couldn't blame them. He had the looks, the talent and the charms. Even the cameraman would faint when he winked at the cameras. He made quite the name for himself everywhere, that’s for sure.

The day for all casts and crew for the drama series to meet up came quickly on the calendar and you were more than delighted to participate in this big project. It wasn’t an opportunity you could miss!

You were thrilled to work with new people, and you wondered how Satoru would do.

It had been months since the cameras began to roll for the drama and it had been one of the best times of your life with the casts. That also didn’t exclude your friendship with Satoru that had amazingly changed over time.

You found him intriguing, a bright and humorous character with quite a cocky and prideful personality. Yet, as coworkers, working with him was fun and comforting in a way, to say the least.

And here you are at his mansion late at night after filming the recent episode together, practicing for the kiss scene tomorrow. (It was his idea.)

“Remind me why I’m here at your place at midnight?”

“We have to pull off the perfect kiss scene tomorrow. You wouldn’t want to let the director down, right?”

That annoying smug of his never left his face since the first day you both filmed together. But he was right. The drama meant a lot to everyone that had been working hard for over the past long months…

And with the both of you as the lead characters, you couldn’t possibly let anyone down.

The living room of his private mansion was only dimly lit by a few table lamps, which Satoru stated that it made it look like ‘the right mood’ to practice.

He approached you slowly as you stood with your back against a wall, his blue eyes which seemed brighter in the dark stared right down at you.

His hand reached to tilt your chin for you to look up at him, the corner of his lips tugged into a subtle smirk when he saw how you struggled to hide your flusteredness and replaced it with professionalism as both your faces were only inches away from each other.

“No time wasted, let’s get to practicing. So, may I?”
