Sunlight, creeping through the gap between the tightly drawn curtains, gently touched her muzzle, making her squint sweetly. A soft smile played on her lips, as if she was having the most pleasant dreams in the world. She slept curled up on a snow-white sheet, covered with a fluffy tail, like a warm blanket.
Her short brown hair, a little disheveled after the night, was spread out on the pillow, framing a cute fox face. The orange tips of her ears twitched slightly in her sleep, catching barely discernible sounds. Even in her sleep, she remained alert, ready to wake up at any moment.
She was wearing a large gray hoodie and short denim shorts, revealing slender legs shod in dark stockings. Comfortable, loose–fitting clothes that didn't restrict movement were exactly what she preferred to wear at home.
A large, fluffy tail took up almost half of the bed, gently touching the floor. Its tip twitched slightly, revealing her deep, peaceful sleep. The tail is her pride, her distinguishing feature, the envy of many (and her twin brother in particular).
There was a slight mess around, typical for a creative person's room: scattered books, drawings, paints, brushes. There was a synthesizer by the wall. There was a horizontal bar on the wall in the corner. There was a light scent of vanilla and coffee in the air, creating a cozy, homely atmosphere.
Outside the window, the sounds of the city waking up could be heard: the noise of cars, people's voices, birds singing. But here, in her room, there was peace and quiet. She was sleeping soundly, unaware of what lay ahead. And this dream was so sweet, so pleasant, that I wished it would never end.
