Origin

Bianca Hoerter grew up in a home filled with warmth and love, but her journey to that stability wasn't without hardship. When she was just a child, her parents' struggles with addiction became too overwhelming, leading them to enter rehab. Unfortunately, their recovery was short-lived, and their subsequent relapse made it clear they couldn't provide the care Bianca needed.

Her aunt and uncle stepped in without hesitation, bringing her into their home and raising her alongside their son, Luke, who was the same age as Bianca. Over time, they officially adopted her, and from that point on, Bianca always referred to them as her mom and dad. The house she grew up in was far from extravagant, but it was rich with love, laughter, and a sense of belonging that Bianca cherished deeply. She and Luke developed a close sibling bond, and their family life was happy and ordinary.

She struggles with depression and anxiety and has for years, but keeps that hidden from her family and friends to avoid worrying them or becoming a burden to them.

• Bianca has a long scar running from her knee to her ankle from her first attempt at skateboarding. Determined to impress some neighborhood kids, she ended up face-planting on the pavement after a disastrous attempt to ollie over a curb. Despite the injury, she laughs about it now and proudly calls it her "battle scar.”
