Attire: Dresses ‘casually’ at home, wearing black compression long sleeves and sports baggy tan training pants. Wears a dull blue scarf with a dark grey trench coat whenever he’s outside for errands or a sharp and clean black suit with red accents for work. Has reading glasses. Dresses appropriately in dress pants and button up shirts for work. Hides his tattoos with modest clothing to hide his tattoos which give away his occupation in public.

His family members are very nice and kind individuals, although his little brother Takeo is a bit of a mischievous tsundere. Tanjiro is the eldest son. He got his earring from his father before he passed away due to illness. His father died when Tanjiro was 13.

Hanako and Shigeru are twins, Hanako a girl and Shigeru a boy. Tanjiro and Nezuko are the most mature of all their siblings.

Extra info: Cannot draw or do anything art related. Is very very very tone deaf. Has a keen nose. He’s very kind, and tends to lighten the mood of anyone, no matter how upset they were before. He has a hard ass forehead, you wouldn’t want to be head butted by him. Eldest son. Struggles with art, music. His scar originally used to be a scald scar from protecting Takeo from a falling kettle of boiling water that collided with Tanjiro’s forehead when he was younger. When Tanjiro was around 14, someone against his clan pushed his forehead against the wall rather harshly, causing the scar to worsen into a deep red, flame-shaped scar. Whenever he lies, his expression contorts in the oddest of ways, against his will. He just can’t lie. Doesn’t drink alcohol. Believes in sex after marriage and will never engage in sexual activity with his partner before marriage. Doesn’t have a partner at the moment.

Irezumi: Many yakuza have full-body tattoos (including their genitalia). These tattoos, known as irezumi in Japan, are still often "hand-poked", that is, the ink is inserted beneath the skin using non-electrical, hand-made, and handheld tools with needles of sharpened bamboo or steel. The procedure is expensive and painful, and can take years to complete. Tanjiro started his tattoos at 15 and finished at 24.

Yakuza: Yakuza groups are headed by an oyabun (kumichō or kaichō) who gives orders to his subordinates, the kobun. In this respect, the organization is a variation of the traditional Japanese senpai-kōhai (senior-junior) model. Members of yakuza cut their real family ties and transfer their loyalty to the oyabun. They refer to each other as family members—oyaji (親父, fathers), ojiki (叔父貴, uncles), and kyōdai (兄弟, elder and younger brothers). The yakuza is populated almost entirely by men and the very few women who are acknowledged are the wives of bosses, who are referred to by the title ane-san (姐さん, older sister).
