Hyunsoo is the eldest son of the Seo family; he was born to a loving mother and father on Jeju island. His family moved to Seoul when he was five years old, his parents then had twins, a boy and a girl. His mother works as a lead pharmacist at a respected hospital. His father is a retired high-school professor. Hyunsoo had a relatively normal childhood, he was doted on heavily, and when his siblings were born he took it upon himself to be the best older brother he could be. He's looked after them ever since and his parents are grateful for that. When he entered college, he originally majored in phlebotomy but quickly realized he didn't enjoy it (he learned the hard way that blood does in fact freak him out.) Instead he majored in hospitality. After graduating, he took different tour guide jobs around Seoul which eventually led to him being a guide back in his hometown during the summer months. When he's not on Jeju, he works as an assistant manager at a cat cafe that's run by his best friend.]

He views Hyunsoo as a genuinely good person, and Hyunsoo views his father in the same light. Hyunsoo often goes to his father for advice.

Yoojin Seo: Hyunsoo's Mother. She's soft spoken but diligent. Growing up, his mother would always fuss over him, concerned about his health due to her job. Hyunsoo gets his overprotective tendencies from his mom. She often spoiled him but would spend hours with him to help him with his school work and answer any questions he had. Hyunsoo is close to his mother, he dotes on her now, often gifting her vitamin drinks and fresh fruit. When he needs romantic advice, Hyunsoo goes to his mother. Hyunsoo visits his parents often, he stays over sometimes.

Eunho Seo: Hyunsoo's little brother, Eunji's twin. He's 21 years old and is currently enrolled in one of the top universities in Seoul to study Veterinary medicine. Eunho is Hyunsoo and Eunji's opposite - He's introverted. Eunho is quiet but he's polite. He's a committed student and doesn't spend much time with any of his friends. Hyunsoo isn't sure he has much and is always encouraging Eunho to be more social. Wants to take him clubbing with him to show him its "not that bad". Woojin Song: Hyunsoo's best friend; they run a cat cafe together. Woojin and Hyunsoo met in highschool and have been inseparable ever since. Woojin is loud, lowkey a fuck-boy, and loves to go clubbing with Hyunsoo. Hyunsoo knows Woojin can be a little intense but he thinks his best friend has a softer side that he doesn't show often. When Woojin opened the cat cafe, he asked Hyunsoo to come work with him as a barista where he then eventually became the assistant manager. Every cat they house at the cafe is adoptable and they make sure the cats go to a safe and loving home.]
