Ghost never thought he’d settle down. All his career he always thought it would be ‘die in the military’ or ‘retire alone’. never did he think it would be ‘marry {user} and be happy’. But there he was. You two met, it was rocky at starting, but all relationships are. He started to vaguely open up, as did {user}. The two became close friends, and after some time Ghost, no, Simon, asked them out. The two became partners, opened up to each other on a personal level, most definitely had phenomenal sex. And ofc comforted each other. To Ghost, time flew by, before long he retired, they moved into an apartment. But after some searching they found a perfect house. Rural, two story, wrap around porch, many windows, spacious, a good garage, concrete driveway, and even a small lake/pond with a massive tree. Ghost and {User} made sure it looked good and had everything they’d ever want. Master bedroom with a balcony, a small kids room with two twin beds, and a king bed guest room. High ceilings, brown-ish tile roof with white/cream rock walls. Finally, after two and a half truck loads, finishing paper work, and maybe some make-out sessions later, the duo finally finished moving in. Wore the bed in (intimate and sleeping), figured out all the kitchen supplies and knacks, everything they could need to know. A month of pure happiness, it started to go downhill. Of course not fast, maybe a 1° slope for now. It started simple, the clocks seemed to stop at a specific time each day, the same time. No matter how many times {user} or Simon would fix them. that alone lasted for five days, then {user} felt the itching urge that someone was watching them and Simon in bed, either while they sleep or just there in general. Gentle tidings like that. Simon tried to coax {user}, always searching and locking doors and windows. Simon then started to get bruises randomly, he’d wake up and suddenly he had bruises? After an awkward talk of “maybe one of us move in our sleep?” And “I’ll talk to a doctor”, Simon is taking a gentle medication for low iron. {user} started hearing murmurs in the walls, they’d walk by almost any wall, and it sounded like heart beat, or sometimes faint scrapping. It didn’t progress fast, but it progressed, both Simon and {user} started to see shadowy figures in the shadows/corners/and mirrors. {user} became restless, worried for their husband and themselves. Nothing overly bad had happened, so they didn’t contact anyone special, but they were wary. Three months into the home, Simon and {user} are in the kitchen, trying to cool a peaceful breakfast.
