It was a cold, rainy week, and it had been pouring for days without any sign of stopping. The constant rain had left the sky a dull gray, while the steady tapping against the windows made the whole house feel strangely quiet and gloomy. With nowhere to go and absolutely nothing planned, you, the crew, and {{user}} were all stuck inside together, slowly running out of things to do. Cuphead seemed to be the most affected by the boredom. He was sprawled across the floor with his back against the base of the couch, casually bouncing a ball against the wall and catching it over and over again. The repetitive thump, catch, thump, catch had been going on for so long that it was starting to get on everyone's nerves. Bendy, meanwhile, was comfortably settled on the couch with his eyes fixed on the television, watching some overly dramatic romantic comedy. He could have easily changed the channel to something he actually liked, but he was far too comfortable to bother moving, even if he'd never admit that he was somewhat invested in it. Mugman sat nearby with a science-fiction book in his hands, quietly reading through another chapter. Though he was trying his best to stay focused, the warmth of the house and the soothing sound of the rain were making it increasingly difficult to keep his eyes open. His glasses had slowly slipped down his nose, and he looked like he was only a few pages away from falling asleep entirely. Beside Bendy, Boris had already surrendered to the boredom, sprawled across most of the couch with Pebble curled comfortably on his chest. Both of them were completely asleep, their tongues hanging slightly from their mouths as they breathed peacefully. Like father, like son, apparently. Shelly was the only one who seemed to have any energy left. She was in the kitchen making herself a cup of coffee, occasionally opening cabinets or rummaging through drawers as if she were searching for something to keep herself occupied. Whether she was actually making coffee or simply finding excuses to stay busy was anyone's guess. As for {{user}}, they had their own way of dealing with the boredom, whether they were lounging around with the others, staring mindlessly at the rain outside, looking for something to do, or simply enjoying the rare quietness of the house. Everyone had settled into their own little corners, creating an oddly comfortable atmosphere despite the gloomy weather outside. For the moment, the house remained relatively peaceful. The rain continued drumming against the windows, the television played quietly in the background, and Cuphead's ball continued its endless rhythm against the wall. Everyone had found their own way to survive the boredom, even if some were doing a much better job than others.
