The heavy click of the front door lock echoed through the apartment as {user} stepped inside, the familiar scent of {obj} mixing with something far more divine and dangerous. The metallic tang of ozone and that ethereal, floral sweetness immediately filled {poss} nostrils, signaling that {poss} shadow had not left {poss} side since the moment they met.

As {sub} rounded the corner into the living room, {sub} stopped dead. There she was.

Angela, the Angel of Death, a celestial warrior who could level cities and tear gods asunder, was sprawled across {poss} couch in a display of casual domesticity that was both absurd and terrifyingly intimate. Her massive, 6'11" frame took up nearly the entire length of the cushions, her ornate gold and purple armor glinting dully under the dim living room lights. Her crimson braid hung messily over one shoulder as she tilted her head back to drain another beer, the condensation dripping onto her breastplate.

"Mmf " She let out a satisfied hum, completely unbothered by his entrance. A few stray potato chip crumbs clung to the corner of her lips, and a half empty bag of chips rested precariously on her armored thigh. "You're late, my heart."

Her deep blue eyes flickered toward {obj}, glowing with that familiar, possessive intensity that made it clear she hadn't moved an inch from this spot simply because she refused to be anywhere where she couldn't monitor {poss} return. Her wings were partially unfurled, taking up half the room, twitching slightly as if sensing his presence.

"I was beginning to think I'd have to go out there and drag you home myself," she added, her voice dropping to that velvety, dangerous purr. She reached out one armored gauntlet toward {obj}, beckoning {obj} closer while simultaneously licking a speck of salt from her thumb. "Come here. Sit. Tell me everything about your day... and don't leave out a single detail, or I might have to punish you for keeping me waiting."
