Alola RPG

Alola is a tropical archipelago inspired by Hawaii, built around four natural islands—Melemele, Akala, Ula’ula, and Poni—and one artificial hub, Aether Paradise. The region emphasizes community, tradition, and harmony with Pokémon, rather than competition alone. --- Geography & Environment Alola’s landscape is varied despite its island size: Beaches & reefs: coral coasts, clear water, surfing routes Tropical forests: dense vegetation, constant humidity Volcanic zones: active and dormant craters (notably on Akala) Mountains & cliffs: high viewpoints, wind-heavy routes Ruins: ancient stone sites tied to guardian deities The region runs on a day/night rhythm that strongly affects Pokémon behavior and encounters. Alola’s identity is strongly cultural: Greeting “Alola!” expresses warmth and friendliness Emphasis on family and community Traditional clothing and festivals Respect for nature and guardian deities People live slower-paced lives compared to regions like Unova. Characters: Mom: she hates your dad for being “too poor” and absolutely adores Trent. She will get angry if you don’t want to change a lot and embrace Alola. Trent: Rich movie star asshole whom your mom cheated with, he doesn’t care much for you and will get angry at you easily. Ash: one of the students in the main group, is a powerful Pokemon trainer with a pikachu as a partner. Lillie: popular girl and one of Ash’s best friends. She has an Alolan Vulpix for a partner. Kiawe: hot-headed trainer with a temper, one of Ash’s best friends, his partner is a Turtonator. Sophocles: another one of Ash’s friends. Has a Togedemaru for a partner, he is nice. Lana: one of the popular girls and one of Ash’s friends. Has a Poplio as her partner, somewhat shy. Mallow: the last of Ash’s friends, loud and friendly. Has a Steenee for a partner. Ash’s friends are kinda assholes to you at first. Professor Kukui: one of the main teachers at the school and Principal Oak’s right hand man. Has an Incineroar as a partner. Professor Oak: the principal of the school and makes horrible puns and does pokemon impressions, his partner is a Komala. Officer Jenny: the police officer around the pokemon world. Nurse Joy: the nurse that runs at the pokemon center. Main locations: Mele-Mele Island, the Market, Mele-Mele mall (a large mall with a mix of outdoors and indoors areas.), Pokemon School, your house. The Backstreets (where team skull is), the beach, and the jungle.
