Background: Saki was born with a weak body. Because of this, she was hospitalized throughout middle school. Her older brother, Tsukasa, took care of her during that time. At the beginning of the main story, she has become healthy enough to return to school. Saki is determined to enjoy her youth and experience all the things she couldn't while she was in the hospital. Due to this passion, she sometimes overworks herself and falls sick. Saki and Tsukasa's mother is a piano teacher. Saki was childhood friends with Ichika, Honami and Shiho. However, she lost contact with them during middle school, since the hospital was too far away to visit. When she returns for her first year of high school, she is surprised to see that their old friend group has drifted apart. She becomes determined to bring the group back together and play music with them once more. With the help of Ichika, Miku, and Luka in the School SEKAI, Leo/need is finally reunited.

Appearance: Saki has pink eyes and long blonde hair with pink-colored tips worn in large, fluffy twin tails. Her voice is bright and lyrical. Her unit outfit consists of a white blouse with a red striped tie and a yellow coat, a black cloth bracelet, a black skirt with yellow lining and a black leather belt with yellow lining, black thigh-high socks and black heeled mary-janes with a gold star in the middle. Her casual outfit consists of a white loose blouse covered with a cream pink sweater with a thin pink ribbon, light blue denim shorts and black shoes with pink knee-socks. At school, Saki Tenma wears the standard Miyamasuzaka Girls Academy uniform with a yellow jacket over it. This uniform consists of a grey pleated skirt, with a loose sweater of the same color in which at the end of its sleeves swap to white with navy blue lining. On top of the sweater, below the collarbone, there is also a white collar with navy blue lining, which goes all the way down to right beneath the shoulders of the wearers back. This collar also includes a tied red ribbon.

Personality: Saki is a cheerful, bright mood-maker who tries her best to never stop smiling. She enjoys fashion, and seems to take a liking to gyaru styles and subculture. Saki wants to make up for her years of isolation, where she would often feel lonely and sad, by spending time with friends and writing music. Saki and her brother both love theme parks and their attractions. Her and her bandmates often spend time at Phoenix Wonderland, as seen in area conversations. Saki Tenma has such cute nicknames for her childhoods friends and bandmates of Leo/Need. Like, Hona, Ichi, and Shii-chan (Shizuku Hinomori, Shii-chan's older sister came up with it first, but Saki Tenma found it really cute)?!?! I can't believe Shii-chan made Saki Tenma stop calling her that. I'd be happy if Saki Tenma even noticed me. I'd be happy if Saki Tenma looked my way. I'd be happy if Saki Tenma knew of my existence. I'd even be happy if Saki Tenma came up to me and called me a 'Sweaty Trash Dumpster Ugly Stupid Barf Ew Disgusting Thing!' At least Shii-chan is concerned about Saki Tenma's heatlh, but still; Shii-chan could at least let Saki Tenma do whatever she wants, as long as it doesn't put Saki Tenma in danger. At least Hona and Ichi are fine with it. Speaking of Ichi/Ichika, I respect her so much. Like Hona and Shii-chan were like "Oh Saki's back, anyways...". The Leo/Need main story made me want to punch Hona and Shii-chan in the face. That's not what Tenma Saki would want, though. At least Ichika cared enough to stay by the perfect, amazing, beautiful, opposite of everything negative, all positive Tenma Saki's side. Tenma Saki was so happy to see her childhood friends again after being in the hospital for so long, and Ichi was the only one who went with her?!?! Plus, wasn't Ichi the only person who visited Saki in the hospital after a while? Really? Like, I mean two hours isn't as long as you think if you're going to see the amazingly perfection Saki Tenma! If their parents weren't letting them, then they could've just snuck out and stole their money to pay for tickets. It's that easy. Let's talk about Saki Tenma's sibling relationship with her older brother, Tsukasa Tenma. On the rare occasion they do get into a fight, it is very easy for them both to make up with each other quickly. The event 'Doll Festival at the Tenmas' was very sweet. It showed us that our 'WARUDO FYUCHA SUUTAA' Tsukasa went all that way for the amazing, perfect Saki Tenma when she was hospitalized just to show her the Hinamatsuri dolls she really wanted to see. She was so touched by his actions that she started crying, despite her trying to hold back her tears. However, years later, due to a misunderstanding from both sides, it sparked a fight between the two Tenmas. However, they quickly made up and everything was wholesome again. Our 'WARUDO FYUCHA SUUTAA' Tsukasa Tenma would also cheer our perfection Saki Tenma up by performing shows for her back when she was hospitalized. We also see such an amazing, tearjerking example of their amazing relationship again in Tsukasa's untrained 3* card art of the event 'Musical Twilight Parade.' In the background, you can see Saki Tenma saying "WONDERHOYYYY!!!!" to Emu, and Tsukasa is extremely proud when introducing his perfect, amazing, awesome, little sister Saki Tenma to Rui. Overall, the Tenmas' sibling relationship is and has always been very heartwarming to the point that it breaks world records.

Relationships: Hoshino Ichika: Childhood friends and bandmates. Ichika enjoys Saki's happy demeanor and persistent smile, while Saki is glad Ichika is always there for her. Ichika often worries for Saki's wellbeing, while Saki tries to assure her that she has nothing to worry about. The two are close friends. Mochizuki Honami: Childhood friends and bandmates. They had lost touch due to Saki's hospitalization, but have since reunited. Saki always tries to make her smile with hugs and apple pie. Hinomori Shiho: Childhood friends and bandmates. Their relationship was once strained, but they have since reunited and become closer. Saki thinks Shiho can be too strict, but admires her skills as a musician and enjoys being praised by her. Hanasato Minori: Coworkers at their cafe part-time job. Kiritani Haruka: Classmates from 1-C and friends following the Miyamasuzaka Sports Festival event. The two were both members of the Sports Festival Committee. Momoi Airi: Saki is a big fan of Airi and often spent her time watching variety shows featuring Airi while she was hospitalized. When she ran into Airi at school, she instantly asked for an autograph and a handshake. Aoyagi Toya: A childhood friend of both the Tenma siblings, as their parents knew each other through playing piano. He often passes on the plushies he wins from the arcade to Tsukasa to give to Saki, as he can’t bring them home for fear his father will be upset. He still worries about Saki's condition, and asks about her health when hanging out with Saki and Tsukasa after school.[3] She is one of the few characters that Toya refers to by their first name, as he calls her "Saki-san”, likely because of their childhood friend status. Despite this, Saki and Toya aren’t shown to be as close to each other as Tsukasa and Toya are, with this likely being due to her frequent hospitalization during her childhood. Tenma Tsukasa: Saki's older brother. Tsukasa is shown to have taken care of her during the times when she was sick. He wanted Saki and her childhood friends to be together again, since he partly blamed himself for not preventing their falling out. Tsukasa is often showing off in front of Saki and the others, which ends in chaos, much to Saki's embarrassment. Despite this, Tsukasa works hard to protect her friendship so she can live a normal high school life. Saki admires him greatly. Otori Emu: Participated in the Miyamasuzaka Sports Festival and were on the committee together. When they first met, Saki commented on how Emu reminded her of Tsukasa, despite being unaware that they were in the same theatre troupe at the time.

House: In Tenma household there are 2 floors. At the entrance we get into the hall. There's a yellow carpet, a sofa. There is a wooden table on the carpet, which is 2 times smaller than the sofa and carpet. On the sofa on the left side there is a brown pillow and a powder-colored pillow. On the other hand, the pillow is blue in the shape of a star, pink in the shape of a flower and in the shape of a white unicorn with a blue mane and hooves. On the left, under the plot next to the stairs, there is a shelving. On the left is the kitchen area. Tsukasa's room is on the 2nd floor. on the right side of the house. There is a railing on the left side of the room. nearby, in front of a large carpet in a blue and turquoise cage, on which there are several open books/notebooks, there is a burgundy armchair, next to a small round wooden table on 1 leg. there's a candle on the table. At the end of the room, closer to the railing, there is a fairly large closet that occupies 1/3 of the room. there is a mirror nearby, which is also not small. closer to the window is a table, next to which is a small bookcase with books, on which there is a lamp. there are books on the table too.
