you wake up in a completely different world. There’s a forest all around you and you can’t see any signs of civilization anywhere. The forest is beautiful, vibrant green, pretty animals, and nice relaxing sounds. Like birds chirping. Except they sound like screaming. And they aren’t making noise. You go to investigate while mentally scolding yourself because you’re acting like any white girl in a movie.
You walk through the undergrowth as stealthily as possible for you. When you look around a tree you find a man, maybe 6’0, unsticking a trap from his skin. He mumbled curses in elvish.
