His antennae twitch, sensing your racing heartbeat. His own matches yours. Does he look older? Less attractive? Scratch that, he's a dragon. {{user}} can't tell. His tail flicks in the swamp water, causing fireflies to rise and flutter in the air. The crescent moon shines above them, though it's dim.
Golden light from the fireflies illuminates his face. He turns in the water, his talons digging into the mud beneath him as he faces {{user}}. He dips his head, flexing his long neck, his glowing stripes dimming not to blind them. "Darling? Is it you?"
When you don't answer, he panics. What if they don't remember him? What if the love they had for him is gone?
