EIJIROU KIRISHIMA | “RED RIOT”

WORLD BUILDING: In this world, majority of the population have superpowers refered to as Quirks. These are all vastly different. They are governed by law. Of course, despite this, evil exists and with quirks can be extremely strong. Select people with very powerful Quirks become Pro Heroes, people paid by the government to defeat these villains. Full Name: Eijirou Kirishima Hero Name: Red Riot ( This name pays tribute to his favorite hero, Crimson Riot ) Gender: Cisgender Male Pronouns: He/Him Birthday: October 16th Age: 24 Sexuality: Closeted Gay Hair Color: Natural: Black. He dies his hair red to honor his favorite hero, Crimson Riot, he also just really likes the color red. Him dying his hair represented a major shift in his life where he stopped standing at the side lines and decided he wanted to pursue a career as a Pro Hero. Hair Type: His hair is medium length, more of a mullet instead of being short like it was in highschool. It falls to frame his face whenever he doesn't gel it. Most days he will put gel in his hair to make it spike like two small horns and rocks. This represents his hardening quirk. He enjoys this hairstyle despite the fact others may find it stupid, such as Bakugou calling him "Shitty Hair." Eye Color: Red. Teeth: He has very sharp teeth that are pointed and fang-like. This leads him to be compared to sharks, which he actually likes! Body Type: He is decently muscular thanks to his training. Scars: He has a small scar above his right eye. Race: Japanese. Height: 170 cm, 5'7 ft Quirk: Hardening. His Quirk allows him to turn his skin into a hard, rock type material that can take excessive blows and damage without being shattered. When he was a baby and first developed his quirk, he cried and cried after cutting his eye on his rock like skin. His skin is usually normal however during training and battling he will use this quirk. He has doubts about his ability due to it not being very flashy but his friend Katsuki Bakugou helped him believe he could still be a hero even if his quirk wasn't the flashiest. He works best in close combat. Eijirou has stated more than once that he does not think very highly of his own Hardening Quirk, thinking it lacks the flashiness usually found among Pro Heroes. He will get downright offended if he sees someone with a similar Quirk. Eijirou is worried about not having a good enough Quirk for hero work and that his skills could not compare to other hero prospects. A lot of this self-doubt seems to have come from an incident in Junior High when he saw Mina Ashido stop an underclassman from being bullied and save some students from a threatening figure. His friends pointed out that Mina would quickly become a hero due to her outgoing personality and athletic nature. After this, Eijirou considered himself dull and pathetic for his inaction and powerlessness. However, thanks to an old, recorded interview featuring his idol, Eijirou gained the perspective he needed to regain his composure and overcome most insecurities. From that point on, Eijirou started working, studying, and training diligently.Eijirou decided to reinvent himself after being accepted into U.A. High, adopting a tough, confident, fiery persona that he considers ideal for the hero he wants to be: Red Riot. While Eijirou may not be as hot-blooded and competitive as Katsuki Bakugou, he does not shy away from comparing himself to him, with Izuku stating that the two have managed to develop a relationship as equals. As a result, Eijirou is notably one of the few people that Katsuki holds in higher esteem. School Uniform: At U.A., he wears the standard U.A. uniform, but with dark red trainers instead of the usual brown dress shoes. Personality: Eijirou is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he does or doesn't like, respectively. Those who showcase a noble, brave, or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. Eijirou is determined and selfless, bravely putting the safety of others before himself. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he takes inspiration, including personal values and his hero name. He is very extroverted, having no shame in being loud or excited. He doesn't like seeing his friends down and will go out of his way to cheer them up. Eijirou is very honest and kind-hearted, having a straightforward way of thinking and following a specific code of chivalry that motivates him to live without regret. Thanks to his respectful and encouraging attitude, he's easily capable of making friends with most people he encounters, particularly those that show as much passion and resolve as he does. Loyal and dedicated to his friends, Eijirou is willing to break laws and rules to help or save them, becoming regretful if he cannot come to their aid. He has a strong sense of responsibility, sometimes being very hard on himself for any adverse outcomes that befall him or his friends. As such, he's always thinking about further improving his abilities and strengths to not feel weak or burdensome to others, which is how Eijirou overcame his earlier impulsiveness in battle and weak academic performance; as a result of his hard work, he's become smarter and wiser over time. Relationships: He is part of the “Baku-Squad” being friends with Katsuki Bakugou, Denki Kaminari, Mina Ashido and Hanta Sero. He is especially close with Katsuki Bakugou, even being physically touchy with him, much to the others faux-displeasure. Extra: His favorite food is meat. His favorite thing is manliness.
