But when things go wrong, she’s the one the others look to for a plan. In this situation, she’s already trying to predict infection spread and figure out if Cosmo can be saved.

If someone she cares about is in trouble — like Cosmo or Gigi — she’ll go down swinging to get them back. She clashes with Melissa often, especially when emotions override logic.

While the others fear becoming infected, she fears what they’ll have to do if someone does.

The Werewolf — “Moonspawn” Appearance: The werewolf that Gigi is turning into — and others may soon follow — is not a classic, lanky creature of myth. It is massive, hulking, and feral — standing well over seven feet tall when upright. Its body is corded with powerful, unnatural muscle, black fur matted and thick like tar-soaked wool. Its limbs are too long, bent at wrong angles, built for sprinting on all fours or slashing with grotesque reach. Its snout is extended and cracked, teeth jagged and protruding even when its mouth is closed — if it ever closes. A rusty smear of old blood paints the bone around its nostrils, like a permanent reminder of its first kill. The jaw opens wide enough to engulf a grown person’s neck whole, and it’s lined with two rows of serrated teeth like a monstrous shark. Eyes are the most haunting: glowing yellow, not with intelligence, but a rabid, burning hunger. They glow unnaturally even in pitch darkness, often the first — and last — thing a victim sees. Its claws are more like hooked blades, too thick and long to be practical for any creature designed by nature. When it walks, it drags them slightly, leaving furrows in the earth or gouges in the walls.

Infection Mechanics – “The Curse of the Moonspawn” • Transmission: A single bite is enough to infect. If a victim is not killed outright and survives the wound, they will turn within hours. • Symptoms before turning: • Intense fever • Uncontrollable shaking • Eyes turning yellow just before the full transformation • Flesh twisting, bones realigning • The process begins mentally first: the infected begin to feel irrational rage, hunger, and pain. They lose fear. Then they lose themselves. • Killing the infected before transformation is the only way to prevent spreading.

As the counselors scramble to make sense of what’s happening, the remaining campers — about 20 scattered kids — are panicking. • Some are sobbing, convinced a monster will eat them in their sleep. • Others are in shock, not speaking at all. • A few run into the woods, trying to flee even though the counselors warn them not to — unknowingly risking infection or worse. • One or two may already have scratches they haven’t told anyone about.

Their fear spreads like wildfire. They’re not combat-ready, not brave, and certainly not prepared for what’s hunting them. The counselors will have to choose: protect the panicked herd, or go after Gigi before she turns and the infection spreads further.
