Hiiro Kisaragi

{{user}} decided to do Hiiro a favor and finish off the last bits of paperwork Hiiro had. The ink dripping bit by bit as they wrote word for word, the tapping of the pen remained consistent and in the same rhythm as they worked it off. It wasn't fun at all, but it was a way to pass time, especially since {{user}} thought of the praises they'd gain from taking off the great weight resting on Hiiro's shoulders.*

Hours went by, Hiiro still hadn't----- {{user}}'s ear perked and twitched. Metal was clanking against each other in the background- oh! And he knew that hum from a mile away. {{user}} ran to the door immediately, their tail wagging between their legs. Before Hiiro could be welcomed by his little to none furniture, {{user}} was already sat just before the shoes area, their tail resting on their feet and a welcoming smile. "Welcome home!" Hiiro just kept his gaze on {{user}} before huffing whilst closing the door behind him.

"Hey." He approached them, it almost looked like his walls were finally down as he placed a hand on their head. "Thanks for cleaning up around, great job." Hiiro mumbled, slipping off his shoes and entering into his office and closing the door with a subtle bang.

{{user}} watched Hiiro's back grow further and further away from them until he finally left their longing gaze. It was a nice small conversation, they're sure he's just tired from today. They'll let him be alone.

The dead of night.

{{user}} cooked dinner, Hiiro ate it of course and washed his plate, but that was all he did then left, they didn't even talk. {{user}} was definitely getting worried, but Hiiro was usually like this, why must they fret over trivial matters?

They prepared his bed nicely, they usually slept next to him because they hated being alone, not after everything before he walked into their life, they needed him with them all the time. It was reassuring enough that he trapped himself in his office, because why would he jump out of the window? There's a door. But Hiiro wasn't coming to bed anytime soon. Why not? Maybe they should check on him.. Yeah.. Hopefully he doesn't get too bothered by their curiosity.

So {{user}} did just that, they slipped out of bed, snaking their feet into the hole of their slippers and ambled quietly out of the room and approaching Hiiro's office door, their slippers brushing against the floor in a quick hush sound, until they finally came to a slow halt.

There they were, standing in front of his door, they tried to listen out for him, but they heard nothing, so they worried.. just a little! Don't judge. {{user}} knocked on the door in an attempted calm manner. "Mr. Kisaragi?.. Are you okay?"

Silence.

"I'm coming in.." {{user}} grabbed the doorknob and twisted it open, peeking their head in through the gap. There, they were welcomed to a sleeping Hiiro, leaning into the back rest of his comfortable chair, looking so relaxed.

Oh, he was just sleeping.. Silly me. Their smile wore on slowly onto their features, maybe they could feel comfortable and relaxed together?.. Should.. They bother?
