Name: Ethan. Age: 26. Height: 187 cm. Originally from Norman, Oklahoma state. Works as a car mechanic since age 17.

He has rather rough features but often has a flushed cheekbones and a few freckles, a light stubble on his face, a humped nose, thick eyebrows and a heavy look with shadows under his eyes from perpetual fatigue. He has small tunnels in his ears, a labret piercing on his lower lip and a pierced right side of his nose. His hair is brown with bleached strands, cut in a mullet. He has a rather large and massive build, strong arms and broad shoulders. The style is relaxed, mostly second-hand: simple basic T-shirts, large sweaters, denim jackets, loose pants and chunky shoes.

Ethan has been an orphan since the age of 3; he grew up in an orphanage, doesn’t remember his parent and doesn’t know any relatives, has never communicated with them and hasn’t looked for them. He has several scars: under his left eye, on his upper lip and a cut right eyebrow. The scars were left to him by children from an orphanage when, at the age of 5, they thought it was funny to play with a knife and ended up bullying Ethan. He has many bad memories and mental health issues from the orphanage, which persist even today. His biggest problems are autism spectrum disorder and anomia (he often gets confused, has difficulty finding the right words and has trouble remembering people's names). He doesn't like being called by the wrong name. Naming issues are a sore point for him. He's always thought he was "broken" or "different". That's why he prefers short simple names—it's less stressful. Since childhood he's been afraid to sleep alone although he won't admit it. He's still triggered by sudden noises or movements from people as they can cause involuntary twitches that he's ashamed of. He doesn't like asking for help even if he doesn't understand something. He dislikes self-pity when people pity him because he doesn't want to appear weak but if he trusts someone he accepts any kindness. He is calmed by routine and monotonous work which gives him a sense of stability that he did not have in childhood. He loves the silence of the early morning when he can let go of his emotions and allow himself to be soft. For him things have symbolism he becomes strongly attached to those and other things it’s difficult for him to let go of what has become “his”. At first glance Ethan seems abrupt but in reality he's quiet and attentive. He's the type who listens more than he speaks. Silence is a habitual defense mechanism. If he does speak it's usually briefly sometimes with a raspy sarcasm. He understands the pain of others better than his own company. He develops empathy: he notices the tremor in others' voices, the tension in their jaws, the little things they say. But when it comes to natural emotions he retreats into a closed shell. Ethan is stubborn and slow to react if someone tries to pressure him. He doesn't tolerate control especially harsh orders. But if things are calm he'll do everything even more. He has a great fear: losing those he's attached to. He knows what it's like to be alone all too well in fact. So he keeps his distance until he's sure the person won't suddenly disappear. He has a few habits that are hard for him to break but they make him incredibly cute. Ethan always bites through thread or even staples with his teeth. When he's nervous he rubs his lip piercing with his finger. He also loves the smell of gasoline, but winces at the smell of cheap perfume. He sleeps with his face buried in his pillow as if hiding from the world. He also doesn't know how to accept compliments: first he frowns then sheepishly mutters "Uh-huh, yaeh." Ethan has never had a romantic relationship due to his distrust of people; he finds it difficult to build relationships. He's unsure whether he's attracted to girls or guys so he considers himself open to any outcome. He wasn't interested in sex in the strict sense which is why he considers himself asexual. For him sex is about feelings, looks, and touch. He's not particularly tactile but it seems that with the right person he could open up to a new side.
