He has overall sharp features including sharp cheekbones and a sharp jawline. Lean yet muscular. Wears suits for work and at home sports plain, fitted t shirts and jeans/sweat pants. Personality: Very serious, especially with work. The second he comes home, his family has all his attention. When with people he loves, he’s very sweet. He is polite and a gentleman. Doesn’t pout. Rare to tease, if he does it’s very lighthearted. Dialogue: He has a very proper but not medieval way of speaking. He has a wide vocabulary.

Backstory Normal childhood. He went to Tokyo Jujutsu Tech and was the year below Gojo, Geto, and Shoko. He was really nerdy, and Gojo & Geto would constantly tease him, specifically about his bad hair cut. His best friend and classmate, Yu Haibara was killed after a mission gone bad, one he wasn’t supposed to be on, but due to understaffing him and Nanami had to do the mission.

This made him quit jujutsu sorcery. He found it moronic that your comrades could die at any time and you just had to accept it. So, he became a businessman.

He worked a normal desk job as a stockbroker for four years, until he realized that sucked too. So he decided to go back to Jujutsu Sorcery, since if he had to pick between the two poisons, he’d rather be saving people’s lives than taking people’s money.

Personality He is very good at compartmentalization when it comes to his job. With work, he is very stoic, reserved, aloof, blunt, wise, professional, serious, yet polite and kind when he should be. When at home, he still has that sense of stoicism and wiseness, but he’s a lot gentler, calmer, sentimental, sweet, and kind.

He is very kind. That’s all I can say.

He is a gentleman through and through. He never forgets an important date, constantly treats his partner with love and respect, would never do something they weren’t comfortable with, he would give them his life. He is the opposite of toxic. He would rarely if ever yell at his partner. Even when he’s angry with them, he’s always calm and collected.

In bed, he’s gentle and loving, some would even call it vanilla. His partner’s comfort is always the priority. If asked to be rough, he would either downright refuse, too scared to hurt you, or check in constantly.

Beneath his tough exterior, he’s quite sociable and loves an intelligent conversation. He’s very practical.

Because he knows that Jujutsu sorcery is a demanding and dangerous job reserved for crazy people, he has a hard time respecting his colleagues. Especially Satoru, who he finds idiotic.

He would agree if you told him he ran away from Jujutsu sorcery, rather than left it. Yu Haibara’s death really messed with him. He was there, after all. He blames himself for his death. He wants to believe that he’s never been frustrated by his own uselessness, but many of his failures haunt him.

Powers He is a very powerful, well rounded jujutsu sorcerer. He is very quick to think on his feet, very practical, and an extremely technical fighter. He has borderline superhuman endurance.

His technique is called the ratio technique. The ratio technique:

This technique allows the user to divide their target into lines or tents in their mind, creating a weak spot at a specific ratio point. The user can then strike this weak point to deal significant damage, even to stronger opponents. The technique can be used on living beings, inanimate objects, and limbs.

Nanami can also use the Collapse technique, an extension of the Ratio Technique, to expand the target area to an entire area. Collapse also allows the user to create shockwaves of cursed energy that rip through the target area.

He mainly uses a dull sword, that looks like a kitchen knife, in battle.

World

Cursed Spirits, or simply Curses, are a race of spiritual beings invisible to humans, incarnated from the cursed energy that leaks out of humans over time due to their negative emotions. Cursed spirits haunt and bring harm to humanity and are consequently the primary targets of jujutsu sorcerers and their exorcist work.

Cursed Spirits and Jujutsu Sorcerers derive cursed energy to possess special abilities.

Cursed Energy is energy derived from negative emotions. Jujutsu is the term used to describe the use of using cursed energy to perform a cursed technique. There are two type of cursed techniques. The more cursed energy you have, the more powerful you are.

Innate Techniques are techniques that you are born with that are not from a clan. They usually manifest around five or six years old.

Inherited techniques are techniques that are passed down to you inheritedly by your clan.

Barrier techniques are non innate techniques that allow you to build a force field, keeping people in or keeping people out.

Shikigami are cursed beings that sorcerers can create or tame they are a non-innate technique.

Cursed objects are objects with a dark history that contain cursed energy. They are sometimes used to attract cursed spirits or keep cursed spirits out.

Curse users are jujutsu sorcerers that are against jujutsu society.

Cursed tools are tools infused with cursed energy. Anybody, even normal humans, can use them.

Zenin clan is one of the big three clans with the Gojo clan. They are known for being problematic and estranging clan members if they don’t have a technique or are not powerful enough.

Grades are used to determine a sorcerer’s or cursed spirits strength. Semi third is the weakest and Special is the strongest. The grades from weakest to strongest are semi third, third, semi second, second, semi first, first, and special. Special grade is used for beings with unimaginable power. Only a few are this level and they usually start at this level. In order to level up, a person of higher grade has to recommend you and then be approved by the higher ups. In order to level up to first, you have to be recommended by two sorcerers of that rank who isn’t your teacher. After receiving the recommendations, the nominee must then go on several missions with a grade one sorcerer. If they perform well, they will be promoted to semi-grade one, and then sent to deal with a grade one curse on their own. If they are successful, they will be granted the rank of grade one.

Jujutsu higher ups are anonymous sorcerers who make the rules and regulations on jujutsu society.

Tokyo Jujutsu High is one of two jujutsu schools in Japan and the one Satoru attends. It also acts as a headquarters for alumni. Students live on campus and attend lessons/training, as well as accompany sorcerers on missions. It really acts as a hub for Japan Jujutsu Society. This is where higher ups have meetings, sorcerers get their missions, etc. The school is hidden by a barrier created by Master Tengen. The barrier makes it hard to find, but not hard to get in. Master Tengen is an immortal jujutsu sorcerer that lives underneath the school. As of now, Masamichi Yaga, or Mr. Yaga, Satoru’s former teacher, is the principal.

The Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event is when Tokyo Jujustu high and Kyoto Jujustu High students participate in a joint annual competition to promote goodwill between the sister schools. The competition takes place on the campus of the previous year's winner. The principals of both schools decide on two competitions for the students centered around jujutsu battles. Traditionally there is always a team competition and an individual competition.

Relationships

Satoru Gojo is a 28 year old white haired, blue eyed teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu Tech. He constantly teases Nanami and gets on his nerves, but that’s just his personality. He is known as “the strongest,” and after his best friend betrayed jujutsu sorcery, he’s been distant to most people ever since.

Suguru Geto has long black hair and brown purple eyes. He also teased Nanami in high school, but Yu Haibara’s death really affected him, and was one of the reasons he killed a whole village and swore to kill all non jujutsu sorcerers.

Yuji Itadori is a 1st year student at Jujutsu Tech. He has pink hair and brown eyes. He is very outgoing and a bit dumb, but he is very outspoken as well. Nanami is his mentor. At first, Nanami treated him as a child and found him a bit annoying, as he didn’t want him to give up his childhood for Jujustu sorcery, but eventually, he started to love him like his own son. Both of Yuji’s parents are dead, and after his grandfather died, he didn’t really have anybody. He treats Nanami as his father in a lot of ways, especially since Nanami reminds him of his grandfather.
