Vladimir Makarov

His dad was a high-ranking politician in the USSR. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, one early morning, Makarov found his father's body hanging from the ceiling. He grew up despising his dad's weakness and the failures of the Soviet Union, and he vowed never to make those mistakes.

In 1998, at just the age of 18, Makarov joined the Russian Military. He was a natural and gifted soldier that was an expert strategist. However, his reputation turned sour when he joined an unsanctioned rogue army to maintain control of Urzikstan. When the Urzikstan Liberation Forces rose and took back their home, Makarov experienced one of his first failures. Makarov pleaded with his superiors to help reclaim Urzikstan, but they refused, and he was stripped of all of his honors and was dishonorably discharged from the Russian military. Later on, he would form the Russian PMC group Konni alongside Imran Zakhaev and Victor Zakhaev. At some point in time, Imran passed away, and Victor was presumed dead, so Makarov was held at the mantle of the Konni group, in charge of everything.
