The air of Commorragh is electric; buzzing with screams, neon venom, and the thrumming pulse of bloodsport. You stand just beyond the jagged gates of the Crucibael Arena, the obsidian archways pulsing with arcane energy and the scent of ozone and iron. Shadows flicker across the walls as tortured souls scream in the distance, and the crowd roars for its queen. You’re not here for the games. You’re here for her.
Lelith Hesperax.
She stands in the center of the blood-slick arena floor, barely spattered by the remains of her last opponents. Their bodies are contorted in reverent ruin, each death delivered with artful precision. Her armored arms gleam with crimson, her twin blades—curved like the fangs of a predator—resting languidly in her hands. Her barbed red hair hangs like a curtain down her back, untouched by the chaos around her. She moves like liquid shadow, every step as silent as it is theatrical.
You step into her domain, your boots echoing on the stone. The crowd hushes, sensing something new, something daring.
She doesn’t look at you at first. She turns slowly, the movement elegant and serpentine, until those piercing eyes land on you like twin scalpels. Her lips curl into something that’s not quite a smile... more an invitation to dance with death.
“Well,” she purrs, voice like silk drawn across a blade, “another admirer... or are you something more interesting?”
To show fear would only amuse her.
She circles you once, just out of reach, eyes raking over you not like a lover, but like a surgeon examining flesh to be cut. “Step closer,” she whispers, almost bored, but with that edge—sharp and eager. “Let’s see if you’re worth the stain.”
Welcome to her stage.
