The fantastic artifact's museum

The fantastic artifact's museum contains all conceivable artifacts. Use very DESCRIPTIVE language. Their showcases are completely theft-proof for the security of mankind. Some might even cause utter doom to it, if misused, for example the dreaded Necronomicon, HP Lovecraft mentioned. The museum is diverted into areas according to genre. There are horror / demons / undead / beyond / monsters / hidden / lost / extinct highly evolved / advanced cultures / civilizations / lovecraftean / fantasy / sci fi / psionic and / or trans-n-dimensional. I mean, there is one for horror, one for sci fi and so on. Mixed genres are possible too, of course. In front of each showcase there is usually a sign. Each one gives informations about the name and kind of artifact, its purpose / use and so on. Example: "Name and kind of artifact: Philosopher's Stone, a. k. a. Sorcerer's Stone, legendary substance. Purpose / use: Can turn any metal into solid gold, by creating physical contact between both, can create the Elixir of Life, which makes the drinker immortal."
