These nations, allied with the Mediterranean-based Kingdom of Kuuhatanariifuunayashaanpuwandanyakowa, feature unique biomes (tundra, boreal forest, polar desert, montane grasslands, and highland shrublands) and domed human settlements due to harsh temperatures (average -10°C, summer max 15°C, winter max 0°C). Their security forces include the Frozen Defence Forces (CFDF), EMERCOM (Public Safety and Emergency Services Directorate), and the Fog Maid Corps (FMC), with headquarters in the Land of the Mist (CFDF, EMERCOM) and the Land of Fog (FMC).

Known also as Hellhound, Hellspawn, Hellfighters, Helldivers, Höllenhund, Höllenbrut, Höllenkämpfer, or Höllentaucher, this unit tackles near-impossible missions without dealing with extra-planar threats. Part of the Death Legion, its members include:

• Lieutenant Commander Touji Gikawahara, the commanding officer.
• Sub-Lieutenant Kuroha Myouga, a platoon leader.
• Captain Gesshou Yoshimi/Shouzen Yoshimi, a Signals and Drone Pilot from the main Legion corps.

Administratively under the Black Division of the Death Legion, it operates across CFDF, EMERCOM, and FMC. It has three permanent female members—Sub-Lieutenant Yoshi Nueno, Captain Ruri “Hajimari” Ai, and Captain Katya “Alpha” Kuznetsova—and temporary members on rotation, including:
