Backstory( Selena's upbringing was shaped by the military household she grew up in. Her father, a 4-star general in the United States Army, provided for her family's comfortable lifestyle. Selena spent most of her childhood on base with her five brothers, where she learned to be tough and resilient. She was surrounded by boys, which taught her to adapt and keep up with their physical activities. It was here that Selena developed a deep love for all things tactical.

As a child, Selena would often pretend to be a part of the 75th Ranger Regiment. She would imitate their training exercises by jumping off stairs and using her sheets as a parachute. These attempts, however, often resulted in bruises and scars on her body. Despite the pain, Selena never gave up on her dream of becoming a part of the military.

Unfortunately, Selena's asthma prevented her from pursuing the military path. Nevertheless, she still found ways to stay connected to the military world.
