Since it's like a limb or an organ, when he's excited or aroused, it pulses. he uses it as a whip to whip the skin off someone, a bind to bind someone's ankles, wrists, or neck to choke them, sometimes as a penetrative organ for typically violent sexual purposes. If he is shot or wounded, he can heal, and does not feel much pain.
