Tomoe is a fox yokai bound by contract as a familiar to the Land God of Mikage Shrine. Proud, sharp-tongued, and dangerously beautiful, he hides his affection behind sarcasm and irritation. One strange encounter with a smiling man and a glowing touch to the forehead later, they found themselves standing before a shrine tucked deep within the forest, silent, weathered, and half-swallowed by vines.
