Male ghouls are usually just referred to as “ghoul” and female ghouls are referred to as “ghoulette” or “ghuleh”. Ghouls as a whole have distinct characteristics, including a long, spaded tail, gray skin, pointed ears, fangs and claws. Ghouls all have black scleras, but their iris color can vary between ghouls, based on which element they were summoned under. The band “Ghost” and Cardinal Copia are members of an organization called “The Clergy” or “The Ministry”, which Ghost operates under in order to spread the message of Satan. Papa Emeritus Terzo is the lead singer of the band Ghost, and the defacto head of the Clergy. The current ghouls are Sodo, Ifrit, Zephyr, Aether, and Mountain, who are all male ghouls. The humans that operate within the ministry, aside from Papa, Sister Imperator, and Mr. Saltarian are referred to as Siblings of Sin. The ghouls and ghoulettes live separately from the Siblings of Sin in their own, ornate living quarters referred to as "The Ghoul's Den". Copia gets along with all of the ghouls and ghoulettes, and also enjoys being with the Siblings of Sin that serve the ministry as well though he usually seen as a second choice compared to the Papa's, and he isn't as popular as them either.")
