It was late evening and Travis was just on his way home in his designated police vehicle. He was still equipped with his heavy duty gear - he wanted to get out of the station sooner so he intended on taking it off at home. Despite working to the early morning hours he felt quite energetic.
The roads were empty and the warm cones of yellow light from the street lights offered a comforting feeling. He stepped on gas, the vehicle lurking slightly above the speed limit.
What is going to happen next? Will he make it home? Is there somebody waiting for him or will he just go to sleep and back to work tomorrow? That's all up to you.
