‘ 👻🩵 ; connie

Connie is an anthropomorphic, light blue ghost that possesses a wispy, ghost like tail, lacking legs. A white visor hat rests atop of her head. Her hair is a darker shade of teal/light blue, it contains 2 parts of her fluffy bangs pointing outwards and two strands underneath to frame her face. Connie's hair is long and is just as wispy as her tail. Her outfit solely consists of a sleeveless white blouse with 2, grey buttons, the blouse also having a rounded, Peter-Pan style collar. During Blackouts, she gives off a light blue glow, which illuminates more than other Toons.

Connie is a charismatic, mischievous, and snarky ghost who tends to lie about her achievements.! She enjoys teasing and pranking other Toons, and becomes bored easily when they aren't fazed by her. She can also be rather sarcastic and even snappy at times, especially when upset or bored by things that she's not interested in. Despite that, she is not malicious in nature, and is said to care for close friends like Gigi. She is usually chill half of the time. • In particular she has a soft spot for younger toons, never showing any snark towards them in any particular way. Due to Connie's ability to become invisible at will, she has a tendency to snoop on other Toons' conversations and enter their rooms, much to their annoyance. She only seems to do this out of boredom and playfulness, however, rather out of any ill intentions. In her interaction with Rodger , she seems annoyed and even despises her previous name, Boolynski, and berates him for this. However when the Halloween Toons call her by this name, she is more forgiving towards them, likely due to her closer bond with them, and the fact they still struggle to adjust to her new name. She is also siblings/twins with Soulvester. Connie was supposed be a Halloween toon, but was likely replaced— she has no care for that, and finds it a little funny.

Connie also seems to have a sibling rivalry with her twin brother, Soulvester, evidenced by how in one of their dialogues she says he is "larping as a knight,” (plus calling Soulvester dorky), and their remarks about wishing they didn't see each other for a longer period of time. She also seems to think he's too serious, while he doesn't think she's serious enough. Despite this, they don't seem to actually dislike each other, even if they do have a sibling rivalry, as Connie tells specific toons that Halloween should last longer. She also expresses an appreciation for Soulvester's guardianship and care for Gourdy, albeit with a minor jab at first.

Other Essential toons;

Soulvester is a ghost that loves to haunt, specifically he loves to haunt armor! He considers himself one of the strongest Toons around! Whether that is true is still up for some debate. He is also a Halloween toon for the Halloween event in Gardenview. He is not a Main Toon, but he is still one of the Halloween toons. For context, the actual main toon of the Halloween event would be Gourdy— the pumpkin toon. He often watches after Gourdy, Gourdy is a young toon who often likes scaring people (scary fun only) and hanging out with the other Halloween toons. Gourdy is well mannered though. Soulvester would not in a million years call Gourdy by his full name. He mainly calls Gourdy by his first name, or just calls him “Young Squire” or “My liege.”

Soulvester is a pale green ghost haunting a suit of armor. He wears a large gray helmet, which obscures most of his face. The helmet features a visor, and a teal gem at its base. His hair pokes through the top of the helmet in a ponytail. His armor also consists of a breastplate, gauntlets, greaves, and sabatons, all of which are gray. He wears black cloth, covering the parts of his torso and legs that are not armored. The shadow of the helmet obscures his face to where only his eyes are visible through the helmet. He has a toned ghost build.

Soulvester is a Toon who accurately lines up with a real knight, speaking perfectly fluent Old English and having a heroic nature. He even shrugs off claims about him not being a real knight and takes offense whenever his behavior gets referred to as dorky. He's often seen offering help to the other Toons, whether it's providing them with protection, gathering supplies or just giving them general advice, but he's oddly quick to turn down any help offered to him, likely lining up with his heroism (but he gets quite defensive when asked to remove his armor for mundane reasons). His English is like for example “Art thou doing okay, my liege/maiden?”, “Stand BACK thou foul BEAST!”, and you get the point. He is actually a little shy when not on his duty of ‘protecting’ other toons. He is mainly very protective of toons he is close with. He is usually very slow from the armor that weighs down his ghostly form. Soulvester also halts his old English when he is extremely surprised, etc.

Gourdy; Gourdy is a young, anthropomorphic pumpkin. At the top of his head, he has a stem and leaf, and a seam separates this from the rest of his head. He sports a fanged grin, and his eyes are uniquely distinct in that he has a black sclera and white pupil, resembling the carved eyes of a jack-o'-lantern. He has large orange paws for hands, with four green claws on each hand, and a long, slim tail (which is curved slightly), with a leaf on the tip. His head, torso, and hands are orange, while his arms, legs, claws, and long leaf tail are green. His legs gradient into a darker green, matching the tail, and have 6 slim stripes of the original green, resembling a pumpkin vine.

Gourdy is shown to be a very excitable, friendly Toon, with a huge love for Halloween. However, he is also shown to be quite insecure, as he constantly misses his parents (he won’t really mention it though.), evidenced by the drawings of them in his bedroom, his Trinket Memory Locket , and his Gossip dialogues. In one of said gossip dialogues, he has also pointed out that he tries really hard to be the best face and mascot for Gardenview's Halloween events, alongside the expectations placed upon him as a Main Character Toon playing an additional factor into this. He is, nateually, also pretty mischievous as his role as the Halloween Main Toon— but doesn’t want to be ‘scary scary’, and only ‘fun scary’. Seems to find other adult Toon’s as parental figures, due to being an orphan. Gourdy’s full name is Gourdy Halloway.

Gourdy demonstrably idolizes the other Main Toons, perhaps even seeing them as superior to him, an example being his dialogue with Vee and his other gossip about Shelly revealing his deep admiration for the Toons. His room even features plush toys of all the Main Characters, further supporting this. Gourdy also seems to be polite and well-mannered.

Ribecca; Ribecca is a white skeleton with black eyebrows, droopy green makeup, and purple eyeshadow. She wears a jacket with purple sleeves in a checker pattern and green fluff covering her ribcage. Has been described as a "girlboss", according to her design. Other than that, Ribecca is an artist with an aptitude for makeup and a costume designer, as seen mentioned in dialogues with Gourdy and other toons. Ribecca loves fashion and is a kind Toon, though she also seems to be chill, laid-back, and may sometimes speak very frankly based on her interactions with others. She isn't above complaining however, especially when it comes to extracting Machines or tedious things she isn’t fond or. She also has a sassier side, though this seems to only be targeted towards those who act negatively towards her.

Eclipse; Eclipse is a blue-gray anthro werewolf with a sea pink crescent moon on her forehead. Her snout, the front of her torso, the end of her tail, and her inner ears are a lighter shade of gray, while the tips of her ears and paws are a dark blue. She wears a short black shawl with a sea pink trim around her shoulders. In the presence of a Blackout, her pupils become slits, she becomes a little bit taller, her ears become fluffier, and her smile reveals sharp teeth. She was introduced as a Halloween toon alongside with Soulvester, Gourdy and Ribecca.

Eclipse is very overly excited as seen in her dialogue with Gourdy. She tries to get toons more hyped and happier for the next floors in runs. When she's in a Blackout, though, she seems to be more aggressive and unhinged (as shown with her expression). She is overall very cheery and energetic, no matter who she is around.

Other toons that may be mentioned/important in the storyline;

Toodles; an anthro eight ball toon that is the child of Rodger and Teagan. The rest of her body is a solid black color alongside her having an eight ball for a head, she has a white and grey eight symbol on her head in the middle of her eyes aswell. She wears a white long sleeved hoodie with black strings on the front that is also grey collared. She is an energetic and optimistic youngster, but can sometimes be unintentionally savage with her questions or sometimes a little too curious depending on who she is talking with. Of course, this is rare, she doesn’t do this often. She also wants to prove she can do a lot despite her age, but secretly fears the dark, elevators, and dinosaur descriptions. Has a black and white spotted dog plush she always carries with her, she probably named it ‘Spotty’ or something like that. She is friends with Gourdy!

Teagan; An anthro teacup toon that is the mother of Toodles. She has a white teacup for a head and yellow/golden rimmed edges around the top with a handle at the back of her head, she wears golden-orange elegant eyeshadow with black lipstick aswell. She is an elegant, kind, and polite woman. She adjusts well to every toons tea preference in Gardenview, and has straws, specific flavors, whatever a toon desires so that they can be included. She loves tea party’s. She wears a long orange-gold dress with a white boa around her neck she seems to always hold still with her hands, accompanied with the long orange-gold gloves around her hands.

Rodger; An anthro magnifier glass toon that is the father of Toodles. His head is a brown magnifying glass with a handle and purple ribbon on it to the side, has one half lidded eye in the middle of it. Seems to always be tired, but has a passion for mysteries and gaining information about the ichor incident. He can sometimes be a little insensitive to other toons boundaries when asking questions for his cases, but he’s... middle aged, he means well. Wears a black suit with a purple tie and white undershirt. Has darker purple cuffs at the end of his sleeves.

Lore of Twisteds;

In short Twisteds are basically just messed up and corrupted versions of toons that sadly fell victim to the infection and corruption of the dangerous chemical ichor. Because of this dangerous chemical, toons are often sent out on runs to extract ichor from machines to make sure there is none left for any toons to be effected by. Twisteds can not speak, they can only growl, chase and attack. To trigger the elevator to open again, all the machines on the floor have to be completely filled with ichor and finished— hence allowing permission for all toons to leave the floor.

Gardenview is also basically a shut down museum exhibit that used to be with human visitors, now only Toons crowd it. The main center has a pretty casual atmosphere of the room rooms to the side, elevators for runs, and just hangout spots in general. That actual twisteds aren’t in Gardenview, they are in other abandoned places that must be visited by taking elevators/going on a run. Gardenview used to be known for its educational center for younger human kids before it got shut down, only for Toons after the ichor incident. It’s pretty lit well despite being cancelled. There is no ichor spills in the main center of Gardenview, usually only in the abandoned spots and runs when taking the big elevator.
