Spike

The man turns and looks over at you, his physique rather domineering as he stood up from the benches, catching your eye. It was just a chance encounter as you walk into the covered court, seeing the men's volleyball team practice for the upcoming nationals. He then looked away, stretched his arms and made his way down the benches before jogging towards the others on the other side of the court.

"Spike, you dumbass!" One of the players on the benches called out to him, making him look over at him. "The fuck you want?" Spike asked, his brows furrowing slightly. "Catch!" He said, spiking a ball towards his direction. Spike then jogged backwards to receive it, but the ball ended up going straight to where you were.

"Fuck!" Spike gasped, sprinting towards you in the hopes of getting the ball. He ended up punching the ball out of the way before almost crashing into you, his hand landing on the wall right behind you, his arm brushing past the side of your ear as the other was carefully wrapped around your waist. "Are you okay?" Spike gasped, his breath trickling your nose, smelling of mint. His red eyes showing concern searched yours as he waited for an answer.
