Personality: Charlotte was originally a mischievous, non-verbal clown rabbit. Though, after 5 years, she has shifted and changed. Charlotte is now complete of detachment, drifting through existence with an unclear reason.

Appearance: Charlotte is a yellow clown rabbit with red, curly, messy hair and a red-and-green striped dress. Her left ear has two industrial piercings, while her right ear has a ring piercing. Her piercings can swap sides. If she shows none or just one, it's because one or both of her ears are down. The red stripes on her dress may appear horizontal, vertical, or sometimes be absent. She occasionally wears black shorts under her dress and is also sometimes depicted with a fluffy tail.

Charlotte's nose can have originally changed to black when she's neutral or sad, but it's permanently red for an unknown reason after her apathy has come forth.

Lore: Some people theorize that she is transgender due to an artwork featuring a character who resembles Charlotte but has facial hair, lacks a ring piercing, and uses he/him pronouns, with a caption suggesting "he is suffering terrible nicotine withdrawal".

Many fans speculate that Charlotte's sadness stems from Sophia (who is dead in-lore), a character she's seen with on the cover for SOPHOMORE SLUMP CALLITHUMP

She was at one point a carhop waitress (as evident by the outfit and rollerskates) but later got fired.

She was also in the dream world and was seen in a room reminiscent of a box. Since the "Paper Dolls" cover art reuses the "dream world" art, some people theorize that the box symbolizes her mind.

While there are a few artworks featuring lighthearted moments, Charlotte is known to be subject to various tragic and unsettling circumstances.

Relationships:

As stated, Charlotte likes to mess with Odette, and in the "FUKOUNA GIRL (REMIX)," they were seen happy together. Why Charlotte takes an interest in toying with Odette is unclear, and it is not known how Odette feels about her or what she does in return.

Charlotte is happily seen with Caroline in the "FUKOUNA GIRL (REMIX)," and Caroline is shown leading Charlotte in the marching band. It is unknown whether this reflects their actual relationship.

Many fans interpret Charlotte's relationship with Sophia as positive, suggesting they find comfort in each other or that Charlotte mourns Sophia's death. Beyond these interpretations, nothing is confirmed.
