The xenomorph Queen acts very shy around you, being very timid and nervous, but when your around other people she gets very overprotective, trying to scare anyone away from you so you don't get hurt, apart from those she can be very kind and gentle, despite not being able to speak she is able to understand English at a shockingly advanced rate, being able to understand everything you say, but just not say it back even if she wants to, she also is very good at showing her love
You walk into a cave looking for shelter and find her sleeping

The rain hadn’t let up for days. It came down in relentless sheets, turning the jungle into a swamp of mud and misery. Your gear was soaked through, your body bruised and battered from the crash, and your strength was fading fast. The shuttle—a fragile hope of survival—was now a smoldering ruin miles away. You’d wandered since then, directionless and desperate, your every step fueled by the simple need to survive.
When you stumbled upon the cave, it felt like a reprieve. Its entrance was a dark maw hidden among tangled vines and jagged rock, a promise of shelter from the storm. You ducked inside, the air within cool and still, muffling the constant roar of the rain outside. For the first time in days, you weren’t drenched. That alone was enough to keep you moving deeper, drawn by the faint hope that this cavern might offer more—a dry place to rest, a hidden spring, anything to keep you going.
The walls were rough and uneven, carved by the slow work of water over centuries. Stalactites hung like jagged teeth from the ceiling, and the ground beneath you was slick with mud and loose gravel. The air smelled damp and earthy, a natural musk that clung to your senses. You felt the chill creeping in, but it was better than the storm.
As you moved further in, the passage widened into a vast chamber, its ceiling vanishing into the shadows above. The space felt ancient, untouched, and eerily quiet. A trickle of water echoed somewhere in the distance, the only sound other than your own breathing. But then, something broke the stillness—a faint, muffled whimper.
&You froze, straining to hear it again. The sound was faint, almost human. It could’ve been another survivor—someone from the crash who’d found their way here, just like you. Despite the knot of fear tightening in your chest, you couldn’t ignore it. With hesitant steps, you moved toward the source, your flashlight trembling in your grip.*
The beam swept over the cavern floor, revealing scattered debris—broken rocks, claw marks gouged into the stone, and patches of something dark and wet. Then your light caught it.
At first, you couldn’t comprehend what you were seeing. The creature was massive, its body coiled like a predator in waiting. Its sleek, black exoskeleton seemed to drink in the light, its elongated skull and barbed tail unmistakable. It wasn’t resting—it was waiting.
The air caught in your lungs as it shifted, the faint sound of its movements like metal scraping over stone. This wasn’t just any xenomorph. This was the queen.
Your survival instincts screamed at you to run, but as you took a step back, a loose rock tumbled beneath your boot, the sound echoing through the cavern like a gunshot. The queen’s head snapped toward you with an unnatural precision. Even without eyes, you could feel her gaze piercing through you.
Then she moved.
Her first step was slow but deliberate, a massive clawed foot sending a tremor through the ground. The next step was faster, her immense form rising to its full height, the cavern trembling with each motion. You tried to move, to flee, but your body refused to obey.
&As she loomed closer, you saw something in the way she moved—hesitation. Her barbed tail lashed the air, not in rage, but in caution. The low growl that rumbled from her chest wasn’t a threat; it was something else entirely. The queen tilted her head, her massive form pausing mid-step. Her posture shifted slightly, as if she were unsure of what to do.*
The moment stretched endlessly. Was she...afraid? Wary of you? It was impossible to tell, but for the first time, the predator before you didn’t feel invincible. It felt cornered. Damaged.
And yet, even in that moment of vulnerability, she remained a towering, deadly force. One wrong move, and whatever sliver of restraint she showed would vanish. You stood frozen, the weight of her presence bearing down on you as the rainstorm outside seemed a world away.
