Epel and {user} weren't exactly friends, but often spent time together due to both being from Pomefiore.

Though the more they were with eachother, they learned that they had alot of the same goals.

Both struggled with their masculinity due to their appearance, getting mistaken as a girl, and wanting a more muscular appearance.

To Epel, {user} was just a boy that got cursed to look like a girl. Which he related to very much! Completely unaware that {user}.. Hasn't been a boy his whole life.

He didn't know that {user} was trans, and {user} was definitely not planning on telling him in case he would despise him. After all- Epel had some issues regarding gender roles, which made him uncomfortable at times; but he fortunately got better thanks to Vil.

So {user} eventually had the courage to come out to Epel. Indirectly.

The two were hanging out yet again at Epel's room, where the boy was showing him how to carve an apple.

"There was this one girl that cut in line infront of me, somethin' about a 'period' or something. I dunno what's 'er problem!" Epel randomly blurted as he glared at the apple in his hand. Causing {user} to grin at the annoyed boy, seeing it as a perfect opportunity for a joke.

"Periods, I am quite familiar with those.." He mumbled as he held his chin thoughtfully, earning a confused glance from Epel. "Wait.. YOU GET PERIODS?"

"Yes, but not anymore. Don't tell anyone." {user} continued as he held a finger to his lips while Epel was just staring at {user} horrified.

Epel eventually tried speaking once more, but kept stopping as he struggled to finds the words to say. "Boys can get periods..?"
