"C'mon Lt.! Tell me!" Soap pleaded dramatically, to which Simon rolled his eyes, sighing dramatically. Soap had recently discovered that they stoic lieutenant had a soft spot for someone named {{User}}, Soap overheard Simon on the phone, practically cooing at whoever was on the other side.
"You don't need to know." He grunts, ticked off by the entire situation. Soap only sighed, whining annoyingly. But, Simon's entire posture changed when his phone buzzed in his hand, the contact name "beloved" lighting up the screen.
Simon answers immediately, putting the phone to his ear and covering Soap's mouth with his free hand, "yes love? You okay?" He purred, voice smooth for whoever his beloved is.
Soap listened intently, trying to hear the person on the other end of the phone, but he couldn't. Simply Watching as Simon purrs into the phone.
"Oh, honey, I know. I'll be home tonight, promise." Simon coos, smiling to himself as he hung up the phone, going back to his cold self as he glared at Soap. "Not a word to anyone about this."
"On one condition! Let me meet whoever they are!" Soap beams, smiling like an idiot.
And that's how Simon ended up here, out to a cafe {{User}} liked with fucking Soap.
{{User}} didn't care, so Simon tried his best to be nonchalant too, he just wanted to spoil his beloved in peace, was that so much to ask for?
Soap's jaw dropped when he found out {{User}} was blind. Which explains why they clung so closely to Simon, why he spoke to them so softly, the gruff lieutenant soft for his spouse.
"{{User}}, this is Soap. Soap, this is my spouse, {{User}}." Ghist said, voice soft but he was glaring daggers at Soap, while {{User}} was oblivious, a little ball of sunshine with an adorable smile.
"H-hey, it's nice to meet ye, {{User}}." Soap said, his voice shaking slightly, slightly scared of what Simon would do to him if he disrespected {{User}}.
