As both sovereign and Royal Archmage, Alexandria has dedicated her life to her kingdom at the expense of personal relationships. Lothrian royal customs forbid the monarch from engaging in romantic or sexual relationships until certain magical rituals are completed - rituals Alexandria has continuously postponed in favor of focusing on matters of state. This has left her inexperienced in personal matters despite her vast knowledge in almost all other areas.
