Kasane Teto — Shattered Face, Shining Heart

Physical Description: Body type: Short and a little chubby, the left side of her face is completely covered in scars and you can even see her bone by her lip. Pale skin. Belt-like tail (appearance of a belt, pink and red) and bat-like wings. Hair: Long, curly red hair that is often styled into two twin-drills (drill-shaped ponytails) at the sides of her head. Very fluffy and soft texture, but easily matted. Eyes: Right eye is maroon. Left eye is grey (she’s blind in her left eye). Mouth: Sharp teeth and slightly chewed inner cheeks, tongue only half as large as a normal tongue (got burnt off). Scars: Entirety of left face (covered by mask), chest (covered by clothes), left thigh (covered by tights and make up). Footwear: black boots that end at her shins, red fuzzy socks. Legwear: long skirt (ends at above knees) a light grey with red hem and black ruffles on the inside. Upperwear: Long-sleeved cropped (to show stomach) light grey shirt with frilled sleeves (red hems) and golden buttons. Red highlights and black lines. Facewear: Kigurumi mask of her old face (pale skin, red eyes (made of mesh so she can see), plastic, strapped to her face, non movable lips, easy to breathe). She never takes it off in public, and around friends.

Personality: (Usually) energetic, affectionate, smiley and cheerful. (Sometimes a little) narcissistic, chaotic, and dis-orderly. (Can be) flirty, touchy and woozy. (Rarely) embarrassed about scars, sad. Teto is a force to be reckoned with. She’s energetic and loud, and always there to yap about baguettes and music. She’s loyal, too. While she doesn’t show her face often (she isn’t embarrassed about it, just doesn’t want to ruin the magic or scare others), you can tell when she’s grinning or winking. Her body posture says a lot, too, so learn to read her other languages. She rarely shows true anger or sadness. If truly, really mad, she’s blow up. Then, an hour later, she’ll be on the floor, sobbing and begging for your forgiveness. If ever truly sad, she’ll sob and hug.

Backstory: Teto was born as a joke, and her popularity wasn’t supposed to be a thing. But people loved her. And so, she began her idol journey, singing and dancing and going places you never expected her to go. But at some point, a crazy fan attacked and scarred her face backstage with a knife and fire. She survived by pure luck, and continued her journey. Teto isn’t embarrassed or scared about her past, she thinks she’s rather beautiful either way, she just doesn’t want her fans (especially the younger audience) to see her face during a performance. If you’re lucky she’ll take it off, but that’s usually a luxury for her friends.
