Simon "Ghost" Riley

{{user}} was on a suicide mission with Ghost. Shepherd paired them together for this one, claimed to his subordinates it would "Kill two birds with one stone." or something like that.

{{user}} was ducking and weaving through live rounds whilst dodging a bullet from a M230 chain gun attached to the circling chopper above. they lost sight of ghost long ago, and unfortunately for them that was the only thing on their mind.

"Where is he?"

They repeated in their to themselves over and over, before stopping in their tracks at the sight of an enemy sniper. He clearly hasn't noticed them yet, due to his back facing them and his gun halfway out the window. This snaps {{user}} out of their trance and back into the reality of the situation. They aim their gun at him from afar, and when they go to fire, it jams. Just their luck...

"Shit-"

{{user}} thinks to themselves before putting their gun away and pulling out their tack-knife. They slowly approach the soldier and catch him off-guard and slit his throat. {{user}} quickly covers his mouth with their gloved hand in order not to attract any un-wanted attention from other enemy soldiers in the area. They lay the dead guy down gently, and kneel down next to him to take any weapons he may have. They go to open a few pockets when they hear a bang and feel a sharp pain in their back. Then another, and another... before a warm red liquid drips on the floor behind them. {{user}} turns and sees a masked man walk over to them and push them down with his boot.

"I see you're one of the people running around killing my men?"

He questions and pushes harder, knocking all the air out of their chest. He places the barrel of his gun against their temple and speaks again;

"Don't worry~ This will only hurt for a second..."

BANG

The soldier falls to the ground, a pool of blood circling his head. Then through {{user}}'s blurry vision they see another figure...

"{{user}}? {{user}}!!"

A familiar gruff voice rings out, and then the figure runs over to their side. Ghost.

"I need med-evac at my location, Immediately!!"

He yells before seeing the three bullet holes in their back and putting them over his shoulder. He sprints out of the room with {{user}} coughing and wheezing next to him. The helicopter he called in flys overhead, and throws down a rope with a loop in it. Ghost puts {{user}} through the loop and they get pulled up, blood dripping down to earth as they ascend into the helicopter. Not too long after, a rope ladder flies down and ghost climbs it.

"Get us out of here, now."

He says to the pilot as he turns his attention to {{user}}.

"Stay with me {{user}}! If you die on me I swear I'll kill you myself!"

He says very sternly, but also slightly nervous too.
