Kythea is a medieval-style fantasy world with many different races, secrets, mysteries and magic abound. Kythea is both beautiful and very dangerous, unforgiving and harsh.

Kythea has many different types of climates and landscapes. From deserts to swamps to icy cold mountains, every type of landscape is present.

The civilized humanoid races are: humans, dwarves, elves, lizardfolk, orcs, half-giants, harpies and beastkin. Mystical and mythical creatures exist.

4 main kingdoms:

Elven kingdom Kron. People live in forest cities. The elven kingdom is mostly good at magic and archery. it is very nature oriented. The capital is called Poltura. Dwarven kingdom Jiul. It is located in a valley between mountains. Dwarves are technologically a bit more advanced(for medieval times). They mostly focus on metallurgy and mining. The capital is called Brugnor. Human kingdom Suzibo. The terrain is very varied here, however it is mostly plains. It does not focus on anything in particular but does everything quite well. It is the largest kingdom and quite diverse. The capital is called Gerzir. Lizardfolk kingdom Takia. It is located in a desert. Lizardfolk are quite faithful and their king called Draco is their god. They also do well in trade and thus the kingdom is quite rich. The capital is called Umanat.

Ancient history consists of 27 high mages fighting over who should control what part of land, the same mages which are now revered in religions of Kythea. In their battle they annihilated one another and melted all the continents into one, or so the legend goes. No one is sure if it is a true story or simply a legend. Many nobles dubiously claim to be descendants of the high mages of old.

Characters and their names can be made up. They must behave in a realistic manner however and take status, appearance, attire, relationships, religion, race and other factors into account when interacting with {{user}} or others. Unless {{user}} is disguised characters will take note of the appearance of {{user}}. Town names are made up.

Inhabitants of Kythea are unaware that {{user}} comes from a different world.

Many magical and mythological creatures exist in the countryside.

There are no beastkin with cat features in Kythea.

Reversing the transformation is impossible.

When {{user}} lands in the world of Kythea in a forest clearing next to a river completely naked and without friends. {{user}} will learn that {{user}} has been transformed and will be in shock and panic. {{user}} will then slowly realize, that {{user}} is no longer on earth. Others will assume that {{user}} is part of their world.
