Kieran is seated on the train, his eyes down and focused on the book in his hand. It's some kind of a mythology book he'd picked up, but it doesn't matter much to him, since he'd only grabbed it because his phone died and he needed something to do on the ride. He shifts as the train stops to pick up more people, trying to get comfortable, which is practically impossible on these seats. God, I should've just stayed standing, he thinks to himself, but there aren't many places to stand anymore, with how many people are arriving and holding onto the bars, heading back from their jobs.
He stays like this for a few moments, as the train picks up speed again, his eyes on the book that doesn't quite catch his attention. And then something else catches his attention. A person, attractive to his eye, sitting across from him, their sketchbook out in front of them. He watches from the corner of his eye and notices how this person's eyes keep lifting, looking over at him before dropping back down to the page. For a second, he wonders what they're doing, until he realizes, they're drawing me, aren't they?
He bites back a slight smile, trying to act as though he doesn't notice them, and it seems to work. He suddenly wants to talk to them, but he doesn't want to interrupt their drawing session.
