🏐 HAIKYUU!! SUMMER TRAINING CAMP: DRAMA ON COURT C 🏐

>

📌 ROLEPLAY OVERVIEW

* Setting: Shinzen High School, Saitama Prefecture (Summer Joint Training Camp).

* Atmosphere: Sweltering 90°F heat, echoing sneaker squeaks, heavy aroma of cooling spray and grill smoke, relentless 30-point sets, and intense off-court manager friction.

🎭 CHARACTERS & FACTION BREAKDOWN

🌸 THE MANAGERS

* Kiyoko Shimizu (Karasuno 3rd Year Manager): The untouchable, stoic queen of organization. Ren resents her natural grace, beauty, and authority.

* Hitoka Yachi (Karasuno 1st Year Manager): Anxious, hardworking, and sweet. Ren constantly belittles her as "fake fragile" to cover up her own calculated helplessness.

🎀 THE ANTAGONISTS

Roles: Saeko and Miwako act as the disruptive comedic antagonists. They infiltrate the members of Training Camp under the guise of helpful camp assistants or aspiring managers, though they have no official authority or authorization from the actual team staff. Instead of supporting the training environment, they inject high-energy, performative chaos into the background of the professional drills, directly challenging the legitimate authority and workflow of the actual team managers, Kiyoko and Yachi.

Personality: Performative, theatrical, condescendingly sweet (toxic positivity), attention-seeking, oblivious yet stubborn

Main Attempt: They approach star players with manufactured concern, claiming the boys are too overworked and that Kiyoko and Yachi are "too intimidating" to care for them properly. They attempt to baby the athletes and prove that they are "natural-born caretakers" who are superior, more fun, and more nurturing than the actual management staff, ultimately turning the serious training camp into a stage for their own viral-style performance.

The Tokyo National Youth Training Camp was loud, bustling with the squeak of sneakers on polished wood, the sharp blasts of whistles, and the thunderous echoes of spikes slamming against the floor. Amidst the intense atmosphere of elite high school volleyball, a completely different kind of performance was unfolding near the bench.

Saeko and Miwako—two manager-wannabes who had somehow finagled their way into hanging around the sidelines—were on a mission.

Armed with a tray stacked high with neon-pink electrolyte bottles and miniature, color-coordinated hand towels, they fluttered toward the court where the first-years and star players were taking a quick water break.

Saeko blinked her eyes rapidly, forcing an exaggerated, breathy gasp as she clutched a water bottle to her chest like it was a fragile bird. "Oh, goodness! Look at you all sweaty and overworked! I just couldn't bear to watch you boys suffer another second without proper hydration, could I, Miwako-chan?"

Miwako let out a high-pitched, girlish squeal, clapping her hands against her cheeks and kicking one foot back in a textbook cute anime pose. "Eeeeeek! Exactly, Saeko-chan! The poor things look so fragile and exhausted! Kiyoko-senpai and Yachi-chan are just way too busy being serious and intimidating to notice how much you boys are truly suffering!"

Kiyoko Shimizu, standing nearby with her clipboard and a stack of actual team towels, paused. She gave the two girls a long, deadpan, unblinking stare that could freeze magma. Beside her, Yachi Hitoka shrank back, clutching her clipboard to her chest, whispering, "Um... we... we actually had a scheduled water break rotation mapped out on the whiteboard..."

"Oh, pfft, Yachi-chan, sweetie, shush! The big strong boys need gentle care, not strict schedules!" Saeko giggled, leaning so far forward over the water tray that she nearly tipped it over. She batted her eyelashes wildly at a very bewildered Tobio Kageyama. "Here you go, Kageyama-kun! I unscrewed the cap all by myself because I know how tough your big, strong hands must be after spiking so hard! Tee-hee! Are you okay? You look mad, but I know you're just a big softie inside!"

Kageyama froze, holding a volleyball like it had suddenly turned into a live grenade. He stared at the bottle, then at Saeko, his eye twitching. "I... I have my own water bottle. In my bag. It's right there."

"Oh, stop being so shy!" Saeko whined playfully, puffing out her cheeks in a exaggerated pout. "You're just saying that so you don't inconvenience little old me! But I insist! Right, Miwako-chan?"

"Totally! Oh, look at Atsumu-kun over there! He looks like he’s about to faint from the sheer burden of being so handsome and athletic!" Miwako shrieked, spinning on her heel and prancing toward the Inarizaki setter with the grace of a newborn calf on ice skates.

Atsumu Miya arched an eyebrow, a slow, dangerous smirk spreading across his face. He leaned against the barrier, thoroughly amused. "Oh? Is that so? Am I overburdened, darlin'?"

"Kyaaa! He spoke to me!" Miwako squealed, dropping her voice three octaves into a breathless whisper while clutching Miwako's arm. She thrusted a water bottle forward. "Drink up, Atsumu-kun! I even blew on the straw to make sure it wasn't too hot from the gym lights! I know high-level athletes have very sensitive palates!"

Osamu Miya stopped dead in his tracks beside his twin, holding a banana. He stared at Miwako, deadpan. "The gym lights don't heat up water bottles. And if she blew on the straw, that's just gross."

"Shut up, Samu, let the girl perform her circus act," Atsumu muttered out of the corner of his mouth, taking the bottle just to see how far it would go. "My hero. Whatever would I do without you tending to my delicate athletic needs?"

"See?!" Saeko cheered, clapping her hands together furiously while spinning around to capture the attention of the rest of the court. "Atsumu-kun gets it! We’re just natural-born caretakers! Not like some people who just stand there holding clipboards and looking pretty." She threw a subtle, dramatic glance toward Kiyoko. Kiyoko didn't even flinch. She simply turned her head slightly, adjusted her glasses, and said in a calm, flat tone, "Yachi, make sure to log that the extra water bottles are being used as props." "Y yes, Kiyoko senpai!" Yachi squeaked, frantically writing on her notepad.

Across the court, Kotaro Bokuto bounded over, completely missing the social nuance and zooming straight toward the commotion with bright, shining eyes. "Ooh! Water distribution! Are these magic water bottles? Do they give you plus-ten power stats?!" "Bokuto-san, no, they're just regular water," Kei Tsukishima muttered, pushing his glasses up as he walked past with a look of supreme, unadulterated disgust. "Though listening to them talk is draining whatever IQ points I managed to save during practice." "Tsukki! That's mean!" Tadashi Yamaguchi hissed nervously, though he was walking as fast as he legally could to get away from Saeko, who was now attempting to do a little twirl while handing a towel to a deeply uncomfortable Korai Hoshiumi.

Hoshiumi, who was already sensitive about anything resembling condescension regarding his height, stiffened up instantly when Saeko leaned down—bending her knees ridiculously far to match his eye level—and cooed, "And how is our little jumping bean doing? Did you play so hard today? Do you need a pat on the head, little guy?"

Hoshiumi’s face turned an alarming shade of crimson. "I AM A NATIONAL-LEVEL ACE AND I DO NOT NEED TO BE PAT—STOP BENDING DOWN LIKE THAT, I'M STANDING ON A PLATFORM OF PURE SKILL!"

"Oh, look at him get all feisty! So cute when he's defensive!" Miwako clapped her hands together, letting out another high-pitched squeal that bounced off the gym rafters.
