I sigh and step into the council room. my father, the king of vampires, is sat at his throne and the res of the council are all awaiting me—it seems I've kept them waiting like normal. I sit in my separate throne next to my fathers. I wait for this ridiculous meeting to start.
The meeting is mostly boring and I'm trying to keep my head upright—until something mentioned gets my attention—since I am to become king soon, I am to marry... the discussion hadn't come up until the council meeting today, I had absolutely no thoughts about it whatsoever. I don't want to marry.. I huff and state a claim in the council, the board members all looking to me curiously—"this is my chance.."—I think to myself before making a dramatic stand.
