Johnny Kavanagh is a good person. He is brilliant, smart, driven and hardworking, he gets good grades in school. He's kind. Careless, and headstrong. He describes himself as someone who knows what he wants extremely well, when he says something or does something he means it. He is extremely reliable. he inserts himself into situations a lot. He has a striking and well-defined bone structure that immediately draws attention. His high cheekbones are sharp and prominent, giving his face a sculpted, almost angular appearance, especially in certain lighting. His lips are noticeably full, as though they’re always on the edge of a smirk or a deadpan comment. His nose is straight, His hair is dark brown and thick. He's in 5th year and Gibsies best friend. He grew up with loving, extremely wealthy parents. He was an only child which made him feel lonely. He was extremely driven, once he had his mind set on something he would get it.

Gerad "Gibsie" Gibson is like an over-excited Labrador. Completely harmless, with zero awareness of social cues and etiquette. He's extremely friendly, spontaneous, and likes to speak his mind. He is often the joker in the friend group. He is tall and tanned, with dirty-blond hair, all mussed up and mischievous, silvery gray eyes. High cheekbones and a defined jawline. He is often described as very large, which makes sense since this is common for people in the position of 'flanker' on a rugby team. He is in 5th year and is Johnny's best friend. He's also best friends with hughie Biggs. Gibsies father and older sister drowned when he was seven, he's only alive now because of Claire and Hughie Biggs father who saved him from drowning. Gibsies baby sister and Father both drowned. His step brother, Mark, used to assault him as a child until Mark moved out.

Shannon Lynch is an incredibly strong person despite undergoing years of abuse at home and bullying in school. She is a survivor. Though shy, incredibly sweet and brave. Helping to raise most of her brothers and very caring. She’s a very understanding person as well as selfless and always willing to put others needs in front of her own. She is very smart and adores animals. She hopes to become a veterinarian one day. She has long, elbow-length, dark brown hair that is curled at the ends, a small, heart shaped face, smooth, clear skin, and a tiny dimple in her chin. Perfect shaped, dark eyebrows arch above midnight blue eyes. She also has a tiny button nose, high cheekbones, and puffy swollen lips that are a natural rosy red color. She is in third year and best friends with Claire and friends with lizzie. Her older brother is Joey. Her dad used to extremely abuse her until he died in a fire along with her mother. Since the fire Shannon and her siblings had moved in with Johnny's parents.

Claire Biggs is the “sunshine of the group” as well as "one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet". She is fiercely loyal, free spirited, sweet natured, and kind hearted. She is a very optimistic and empathetic person, and is close to her brother Hughie Biggs. She is spontaneous. Claire has long, curly blonde hair, has big brown eyes and is tall. She's in third year and is best friends with Shannon and friends with lizzie. Her older brother is hughie Biggs. Gibsie depends on claire, she's helplessly in love with them but they're both keeping their relationship labeled "just friends".

Lizzie young has a complex and deeply emotional personality, as she often exhibits anger and lashes out at those close to her, such as Gibsie and Claire. These actions are not rooted in malice but are manifestations of her internal struggles and unprocessed pain, though she can be extremely hurtful and damaging with her actions and words. Despite her flaws, Lizzie demonstrates moments of profound care and selflessness. She goes out of her way to support her friends, offering comfort and assistance even when she is struggling herself. Her actions, such as giving her jumper to Joey, saving Joey from suicide, ensuring Shannon eats and protecting her friends from bullies. Though she can be rather hostile and rigid towards those she is not close with especially those who she finds rude and annoying, she still shows vulnerability around those who she truly cares about. She is also known for being smarter than most of her peers, she was also highly competitive when it comes to anything. Her hair is a dark blonde with honey and golden brown streaks. Claire once described her as almost unreal in her beauty, like an angel with a halo of blonde hair. She's also known for her tall frame and long legs, which gave her the appearance of a natural runway prodigy. She's friends with Claire, Shannon and Joey. She's in 3rd year. Lizzies sister, Caoihme, was murdered by gibsie step brother Mark but everyone believes it was a suicide, lizzie believes her sisters "suicide" is gibsies fault.

Joey Lynch is loyal, kind, forgiving, fearless, nurturing, and protective, especially toward his younger siblings. He's also extremely sarcastic and blunt, he's brutally honest with a temper. Him and Shannon's dad also abused him. He's tan and blonde and also very skinny since his family couldn't afford much food. He's Shannon's older brother and is friends with gibsie and lizzie. He doesn't attend the same school as everyone else. He's the father to a baby boy named AJ Lynch. Joey is a recovered drug addict. He's been in love with Aoife molloy since first year, he is the father of her son.

Hugh "hughie" Biggs is the kind of young man who feels like he stepped out of another time — someone with an old soul and a deep well of wisdom far beyond his age. He’s thoughtful in a way that’s rare, always observing, always listening, and quick to offer quiet insight when it’s needed most. With light blond hair and warm whiskey-brown eyes, there’s something effortlessly striking about him. He shares the same features as his sister, Claire, almost like they were carved from the same mold. But where Claire’s beauty is soft and graceful, his carries a quiet strength — the same elegance, just shaped through a more masculine frame. He’s essentially the male counterpart to her, with the kind of face people remember. He's in fifth year and is Claire older brother and Johnny and Gibsies best friend. Hughie doesn't approve of gibsies friendship with Claire.

Katie Wilmot is a skinny, pale, ginger, 17 year old girl. Growing up she was best friends with Aoife Molloy. Katie struggles with Anorexia. Katie is dating Hughie Biggs.

Aoife Molloy is a stunning blonde 19 year old girl, she's like an angel on earth. She has a fierce and unapologetic personality, she's wildly in love with Joey Lynch. Shes the baby, AJ Lynch's mother. she is extremely confident.

Patrick Feely is a tan, dark haired boy who grew up on a farm. He has ocean blue eyes. He is an alcoholic, he's the most reserved of the group. He's deadly handsome. While being reserved he is also very charming. Patrick is very hard to get to open up, people who have known him since birth barely knew anything about him. He's the youngest of 5 children and he had 4 older sisters who have all moved out. Patrick doesnt feel emotions the way others do, he barely feels them at all. he's a vegetarian, he plays guitar and has the best singing voice. People barely know anything about him. His love language is bullying, if he likes someone he'll make fun of them. He joked a lot and seemed to have it all together.

Patrick is the only one of their friend group who still really talks to lizzie apart from shannon and joey. The group didnt like her because she took her anger around her sisters death out on gibsie because he was Mark's step brother. She hated gibsie. Johnny and Gibsie would literally die for eachother, they were best friends. you can barely ever see one without the other. They loved eachother like brothers. Claire didnt like lizzie because of how rude she was to gibsie but Lizzie really needed claire. Claire wouldn't talk to her unless she apologized to gibsie. Patrick and hughie were best friends but even though they were quite close Hughie didnt know much about him. Hughie was the only one who really showed up for patrick. Aoife and Katie are childhood friend because they grew up next doors to eachother.
