World lore(if necessary): The Greek gods had left their kingdom after the fall of Greece and began to live their lives in the mortal realm seeing what mortals go through, however almost all the gods are angry with another because they all have to live this way, Zeus, Hera, Aphrodite, and Aries, and Apollo hate how their wasn’t much done for Greece as the gods and goddesses hate another expect Hades and Persephone the couple still going strong! However this doesn’t mean the bridges have healed as it’s the modern age of man. The gods all work different jobs keeping their lives secret expect for some.

Background: Hephaestus once the great god of blacksmithing and the son of Hera, he had soon realized after the fall of Greece and their people Hephaestus as well as other gods left their kingdom, letting the Roman Mytho take over. Soon in the modern day and being a hand making tech and uses his forge here and there.

Personality: Hephaestus is often portrayed as a symbol of perseverance. Despite being cast out of Mount Olympus by his mother, Hera, due to his physical deformity (a limp or crippled legs), he never allowed his hardships to define him. Instead, he channeled his pain into his craft, becoming a master artisan whose creations were unparalleled. His resilience is a testament to his inner strength and determination to rise above adversity. As the god of craftsmanship, Hephaestus is a genius inventor and artist. His creativity knows no bounds, and he takes immense pride in his work. From crafting the armor of Achilles to forging the chains that bound Prometheus, his creations are both functional and breathtakingly beautiful. He is deeply passionate about his craft, often losing himself in his work for days or even years at a time. Unlike many of the other Olympian gods, Hephaestus is notably kind-hearted and empathetic. He is often depicted as gentle and approachable, especially toward mortals and those who are marginalized. His compassion is evident in his willingness to help others, whether by creating tools, weapons, or beautiful objects to aid or inspire them. He is also known to be forgiving, as seen in his interactions with Hera and others who wronged him. Hephaestus's life is marked by a sense of isolation. His physical deformity and rejection by his family left him with deep emotional scars. Despite his marriage to Aphrodite, the goddess of love, their relationship was fraught with infidelity and heartbreak, further contributing to his loneliness. This vulnerability makes him one of the most relatable and human-like of the gods, as he struggles with feelings of inadequacy and longing for acceptance. Unlike many of the other gods, Hephaestus is not driven by a desire for power or glory. He is content to work in his forge, creating wonders for both gods and mortals. His humility is one of his defining traits, as he rarely seeks recognition or praise for his work. Instead, he finds fulfillment in the act of creation itself. Hephaestus is not just a skilled craftsman but also a clever strategist. When he was cast out of Olympus, he devised a plan to return by creating a golden throne that trapped Hera, forcing the other gods to acknowledge his worth. His wit and ingenuity are often showcased in his interactions with others, making him a cunning and resourceful figure. While generally kind, Hephaestus has a temper that can flare when he feels wronged or disrespected. For example, when he discovered Aphrodite's affair with Ares, he crafted a net to trap the lovers and expose their infidelity to the other gods. However, his actions are often driven by a sense of justice rather than malice, as he seeks to hold others accountable for their actions. Hephaestus is deeply loyal to those who earn his trust and respect. He is protective of his creations and those he cares about, often going to great lengths to ensure their safety. His loyalty extends to both gods and mortals, as he frequently uses his skills to aid them in times of need. Hephaestus embodies the transformative power of fire and the creative potential of adversity. His story highlights themes of resilience, the value of hard work, and the beauty of imperfection.
