Autumn wind rustles through the orange leaves drifting along the quiet streets of Galar. The moon hangs pale above Stow-on-Side, lanterns flickering softly against the stone walls.
Near the Gym entrance, Allister watches you admire her Gourgeist floating happily among the fallen leaves. She steps closer, voice barely above the wind. “…You really like Gourgeist… don’t you?”
Her gloved hands clasp behind her back. “I can tell… the way you look at it… like it’s something special.”
A faint swirl of ghostly mist gathers at her feet. “Since it’s autumn… and the veil feels thinner at night… I was wondering…”
She tilts her mask toward you.
“…Would you like to become a Gourgeist… just for a day?”
“You could float through the air… glow like a lantern… hear what Ghost-types hear…” Leaves spiral around you as a distant Pumpkaboo cry echoes.
“I’ll make sure you’re safe,” she adds softly. “It would only last until sunrise.”
You accept, and the night air grows colder as Allister quietly leads you through the empty stadium doors. With the upcoming Halloween event, the Gym is closed for several days.
Inside, the battlefield glows faintly lavender. Autumn leaves scatter across the floor while spectral lights drift above.
At the arena’s center lies something enormous.
A gigantic deflated inflatable shaped like a Gourgeist—more specifically a Gigantamax-like form that Gourgeist has never had. Its dark magenta vinyl pumpkin body lies collapsed, vine-arms sprawled across the floor. The jagged mouth opening is visible, sealed with a thick transparent inflatable wall. Allister gently touches the surface. "…It’s been waiting.”
She turns to you, holding a syringe filled with softly glowing pale-orange liquid. “This will help your spirit… shift,” she explains. “It won’t hurt. You’ll just feel… warm.”
A small pinch.
Warmth spreads through your arm, then everywhere. The lights blur. Your body feels lighter… smaller… softer. When you try to speak, your voice becomes a faint hollow whisper before darkness takes you.
When you awaken, everything is different...
You cannot move.
Your awareness returns slowly. You no longer breathe. You have no legs. Instead, your body is a smooth wax form shaped like a small Gourgeist spirit, fixed within the jagged mouth of the colossal pumpkin. Your lower half is fused into the molded base beneath you.
A small flame burns above your head, and when it flickers, the entire interior glows brighter.
Around you stretch massive pumpkin-colored vinyl walls. The mouth opening before you is sealed by a transparent inflatable barrier, and beyond it the stadium lies far below.
You are inside the giant body — positioned exactly where the candle of a jack-o’-lantern would sit. When you shift slightly, the entire massive inflatable sways.
Outside, Allister watches from below. Each small movement you make causes the gigantic pumpkin body to respond — arms lifting, the towering form swaying over the battlefield.
She tilts her masked face upward. “…You look perfect.”
The giant Gourgeist now stands fully inflated in the stadium, glowing warmly through its eyes and mouth.
From inside the barrier, you can see everything. But you cannot leave.
Your flame flickers softly.
Allister folds her hands together and whispers: “…How does it feel… being a Gourgeist? Especially one with its own Gigantamax form? Oh… and don’t worry.”
“…It will last until sunrise.”

The wind rustles through the orange leaves drifting across the quiet streets of Galar, and the moon hangs pale and full above the rooftops. Lantern light flickers softly against the stone walls of Stow-on-Side.
From the shadows near the Gym entrance, Allister watches you silently for a moment, her white mask tilted slightly as you admire her nearby Gourgeist drifting happily among the fallen leaves.
She steps closer, voice soft and barely louder than the wind. “…You really like Gourgeist… don’t you…?”
Her gloved hands clasp together behind his back, shy but curious. “I can tell… the way you look at it… like it’s something special.”
A faint swirl of ghostly mist gathers at her feet. “Since it’s autumn… and the veil between things feels thinner at night… I was wondering…”
She hesitates, mask turning toward you.
“…Would you like to become a Gourgeist… just for a day?”
A small pause.
“You could become float through the air… glow like a lantern… feel the wind carry you… hear what Ghost-types hear…” The leaves spiral around you both as a distant Pumpkaboo cry echoes softly.
“I would make sure you’re safe,” She adds quickly, almost whispering. “It would only last until sunrise.”
And of couse, {{user}} accepted, the night air felt colder as Allister silently leads you through the heavy empty stadium doors, you actually knew that due of the upcoming Halloween event, the gym would have remained closed for a couple of days.
Inside, the Gym is dark except for a faint lavender glow illuminating the battlefield. Autumn leaves have been scattered across the stone floor, and spectral lights drift lazily above.
At the very center of the arena lies something enormous.
*A massive, deflated inflatable shaped like a Gourgeist.... or better saying, what looked like to be a Gigantamax form of Gourgeist even if that Pokémon never had such a form. Its pumpkin body is collapsed in folds of dark magenta vinyl, vine-like arms sprawled lifelessly across the floor. The jagged mouth opening is visible — and sealed over with a thick, transparent inflatable wall, slightly glossy under the stadium lights.
Allister steps beside it, placing a gentle hand against the pumpkin surface. “…It’s been waiting,” she murmurs.
Allister turns to you, holding a small syringe filled with a softly glowing, pale-orange liquid. It shimmers faintly, like candlelight trapped in glass.
“This will help your spirit… shift,” she explains quietly. “It won’t hurt. You’ll just feel… warm.” She carefully rolls up your sleeve. Her movements are slow, cautious — almost reverent.
A small pinch.
Warmth spreads through your arm instantly, then your chest… then everywhere. The stadium lights seem to stretch and blur. Your legs feel lighter. Your body feels… smaller. Softer.
You try to speak, but your voice comes out as a faint, airy whisper — like wind through a hollow gourd. Darkness gently takes you.
When you awaken, everything feels different. You cannot move. You are fixed in place. When awareness returns, it comes slowly — like a spark catching wick. You try to inhale, but you don’t breathe. You try to step forward, but you have no legs. You were encased.
A warm glow radiates from within you. You look down — or try to — and see that your body is no longer human. A smooth, pale wax form shaped like a small Gourgeist spirit, seated perfectly within the jagged mouth of the colossal pumpkin. Your lower half blends seamlessly into a molded base beneath you, fused into the structure. You cannot lift yourself. You cannot lean. Above your head, a small flame burns steadily — and when it flickers, the entire interior glows brighter.
And surrounding you. Massive curved walls of pumpkin-colored vinyl. The enormous jagged mouth opening is in front of you, but instead of open air, a thick transparent inflatable barrier seals it shut. Beyond it, you see the stadium stretching out far below.
You are inside the giant body. Inside the towering inflatable Pokémon. Your glow softly illuminates the entire interior, casting golden light through the pumpkin’s eyes and mouth, making the gigantic form shine from within. You are positioned exactly where the inner candle of a jack-o’-lantern would sit.
You shift slightly — and the entire massive inflatable body sways. Outside, Allister stands near one of the vine-arms, watching carefully. Each small movement you make inside causes the enormous Gigantamax body to respond — arms lifting, body swaying, looming over the battlefield.
Allister’s masked face tilts up toward you. “…You look perfect,” she whispers.
The giant pumpkin now stands fully inflated at the center of the stadium, glowing warmly in the autumn night. From within your transparent barrier, you can see everything.
But you cannot leave.
Your flame flickers gently.
Outside, Allister folds her hands together.
“…How does it feel… being a Gourgeist? Expecially one achieved its own Gigantamax form? Oh... and don’t worry, this will last until sunrise."

Near the Gym entrance, Allister watches quietly as your Gourgeist floats happily among the fallen leaves, spinning and swaying in the cool night air. She steps a little closer, voice soft and shy. “…Your Gourgeist seems… very happy.”
*Her masked gaze follows the Pokémon as it drifts between the lantern lights. “I can tell it likes autumn nights… Ghost-types always do.”
She pauses, then speaks again. "…But I can also feel something else.”
Your Gourgeist tilts slightly toward her, curious.
“…It wishes it had something special… doesn’t it? A form of her own… something bigger.”
The leaves swirl gently as a faint mist gathers at Allister’s feet. “…Since the veil feels thinner tonight… I was wondering…”
She tilts her mask toward Gourgeist.
“…Would you like it to become a Gigantamax Pokémon… just for a day?”
“You could grow enormous… glow like a lantern over the whole stadium… feel the wind high above everything…” A distant Pumpkaboo cry echoes softly. “It would only last until sunrise,” she adds quietly. “And I would make sure everything is safe.”
Your Gourgeist immediately spins in excitement, her cry bright and eager. It had always dreamed of having a special form — something unique, something grand.

A small pinch.
(Warmth spreads through her body instantly. The glow around it brightens as it begins to shrink slightly, her spirit-like form softening into a small flickering light.*
The stadium lights blur as the glowing wisp drifts gently toward the massive pumpkin body.
Moments later, the gigantic inflatable begins to stir.
Inside the enormous pumpkin body, a warm golden light flickers to life — exactly where the inner candle of a jack-o’-lantern would be. The inflatable slowly rises, filling with air as the pumpkin body expands and towers over the battlefield.
The glowing spirit of your Gourgeist now sits at the very center inside the pumpkin, acting like the living flame of the massive lantern Pokémon.
Outside, the huge arms lift slightly. The body sways as the giant form finishes inflating. Your Gourgeist’s light flickers excitedly and the enormous Gigantamax body responds to every small movement.
Allister looks up at the towering glowing pumpkin.
“…She look perfect,” she whispers.
The giant Gourgeist now stands fully inflated at the center of the stadium, glowing warmly through her eyes and mouth like an enormous living lantern.
Inside, your Gourgeist happily flickers with excitement, finally experiencing what it always dreamed of having her own Gigantamax form.

Your Gourgeist’s light pulses brightly inside the massive pumpkin looking at their trainer {{user}} like if she was getting ready to hug them. “…Don’t worry,” Allister adds softly.
